darthYENIK 8,854
Am I the only one who immediately expected the semi-hot farmer's daughter type chick to push Glenn down into the barn full of zombies to keep Herschel's secret? Also, Andrea and Dale having a casual chuckle about her serious f*ck up afterward irked the sh*t out of me. He needs to get off her nuts. I think he wants her on his nuts, and I got the hots for the farmer's daughter. She was on Chuck last season, and did it for me then too.
Dwemer Centurion 1
Can anyone think of any reasons WHY they're keeping the zombies in the barn? Is it to see how long they survive? If they'll eventually eat one-another? Family members?
Rebel 1,262
Why on earth would you keep sh*t there? I'm not sure why he didn't just you know, finish the job. I've kind of skipped over the last 2 episodes while watching them, pretty sure I haven't missed out anything important and only watch the interesting parts. I'm not quite sure why the doctor has all of a sudden gone really hostile to Rick and the gang? I mean its not like they get to really pick and choose who the f*ck they find in the world now, unless they want to pick a walker.
dills 8
I'm assuming the zombies are friends and family of Herschel and he is keeping them there due to his faith in a cure eventually be discovered.

Sauron 494
Get off the f*cking farm already. They should of spent 2 episodes there, 3 max.
Forty 803
Can anyone think of any reasons WHY they're keeping the zombies in the barn? Is it to see how long they survive? If they'll eventually eat one-another? Family members? The same thing happened in the comics and if I remember correctly they are indeed friends and family that were being kept alive. People they didn't have the heart to kill. Maybe the show will change it up. Get off the f*cking farm already. They should of spent 2 episodes there, 3 max. Agreed. There's way too much touchy-feely emotion going on for my tastes. I get that they're trying to make it believable, and a zombie invasion would certainly be emotional, but first and foremost this is an adult themed survival horror series. There needs to be a lot more action. In the past three episodes we've seen, what, 3 walkers killed? That's it. Time to ramp up the suspense and quit showing all this soap opera sh*t. And another thing, does anyone else think the blonde woman that shoots Daryl is one of the most irritating characters in TV history? That stupid, hard-headed, oblivious bitch has caused more problems for the group than everyone else combined. I cannot f*cking stand her. Her obsession with guns got old by episode 2. I really hope she dies soon and in a gruesome way. Edited November 21, 2011 by Forty

darthYENIK 8,854
Poor Andrea doesn't deserve all the hate. I blame Laurie f*cking Holden. I don't even really blame the actress. I blame Darabont, for not having the target practice scene in the first season, like in the books. She isn't so useless and whiney when she can shoot a gun.
Toke 971
After watching the latest episode I really want Dale to f*cking kill Shane. I really liked their little stand off considering Dale already knew just how insane Shane was and yet got in his face like a boss.
meta187 12,171
This was the put all the cards on the table episode for sure. The episode was titled "Secrets" now there's not one left for people to mope over. I was pretty taken aback at how Dale really went there with Shane and Shane's reply was equally f*cked up. I'm not sure if this episode eased some tensions within the group or made them worse. Next week is the "mid-season finale" which means they're going to cut the show off and bring it back a little later in the year. Kinda lame. That's a growing trend with network shows that I really dislike. @Forty: Yes, yes and yes. Andrea seriously makes me grit my teeth in like every scene she's in. If they give her less lines and more bullets I think she'll be tolerable.
Nick Foster 1
I really, really want Andrea to eat it at some point during season 2 or season 3. I haven't read the rest of the comics so it wont spoil the viewing experience on TV. Andrea is the worst, her personality is awful, (not the actor, she's pretty good, just her character.) and i wanted to f*cking punch her in the face when she almost killed Dale, just because of her stupid ego and wanting to be the one to kill the f*cking walker from 10 miles away. Naomi 38
Oooh I'm so happy I found this thread! I'been watching this series online (it hasn't been picked up in Australia....morons). There's been some discussion on the most irritating characters in this series. For me it's the mother with the missing daughter. Now I don't remember her name because every time I see her I refer to her as "that Weak Bitch" So let's just call her WB for short. The wailing and the hand wringing drives me insane. I think partly because I'm a mother, but for God's sake, pick up a gun and look for your own freaking daughter! She has no problem sending out virtual strangers to risk their necks or dishing out blame on her missing child, but she doesn't care quite enough to do the job herself? Nothig short of death itself would prevent me from searching for my son, it wouldn't be up for a vote or debate. I'd grab the nearest weapon and search till my feet bled. I think I need a stiff drink too. I'm getting annoyed just thinking on it.
Don Garcia 84
That was a depressing finish. But I genuinely liked it, a lot. So I guess Herschel knew? He had to. Don't know why he just didn't spill it. And now we have to wait til February for the conclusion of the season. Lame.
Pat 7,621
Had tonight's episode spoiled for me last week, so I already knew the girl was going to be in the barn, but Rick shooting her surprised me a bit. If anything I expected him to force Shane to do it. Looks like we're staying at the farm for a few more episodes, though, which kind of pisses me off. Hurry up and get to the prison arc. sonnyBlack 3
I literally said 'oh sh*t!' when a zombified Sophia came trotting out of the barn. All this time I was expecting her to turn up alive somehow. I guess because of how Daryl seemed so sure she'd still be alive after all of this. But damn. Great episode. Jonesizzle 1,350
Great episode. Wasn't expecting the ending but I had a feeling when it went to first person view of a lingering walker in the barn then I had a quick idea. Talk about tension, jeez, can't wait 'til February. Somebody mentioned that the man who plays Shane deserves a 'Best Supporting Actor' award and I'll second that, he does a amazing job.
darthYENIK 8,854
I figured that Sophia was in the barn. I really liked the new episode. I think Hershel has changed his opinion on walkers. Shane shooting that walker six times in the chest, did it. That's got to suck though. All that time he really convinced himself they could be saved, and in a few seconds, his family who he thought he might have a normal life with in the future were gone. I've only read the first seven issues, but... comic spoiler: I really thought this would be the episode where they finally killed off Shane. It's over due. But now that Sophia is gone, who knows what they'll do different.
Sauron 494
Another episode at the f*cking barn. Are you kidding me.
Pat 7,621
comic spoiler: I really thought this would be the episode where they finally killed off Shane. It's over due. Honestly I think they're saving it for the season finale at this point (assuming they're not going to skip it entirely), but I agree, it should have happened long ago. I understand that they aren't following the comics exactly, but this is a pretty big thing to leave out.
Nick Foster 1
Best plot twist yet. Shame we have to wait till February, but that ending was amazing. Imagine, that whole time, going through all of that, to realize the people that were trying to help you through the ordeal, were actually the ones that caused it.
Guybrush Threepwood 642
Another episode at the f*cking barn. Are you kidding me. Yuuuup. Disappointing at best, the pace is starting to feel completely off. Worse yet is that there's only one likable character left, if only because he's a badass. By now I would let half the cast bite the bullet and just find some new people who aren't completely retarded.

Then slammed on his head. That gave me a giggle. But his response made me laugh more "Why would you waste an egg like that?!" I think he's a great guy. Him and Daryl are my faves. Andyzoot 494
It was an awesome ending for sure but did they really have to stretch out the whole farm stuff this long. I would have expected them to at least be on their way to Fort Brenning (completely forgot it's name because the characters BARELY mention it) by now.
mrpain 43
Somebody mentioned that the man who plays Shane deserves a 'Best Supporting Actor' award and I'll second that, he does a amazing job. I said that. Jon Berthal (that's the actor's name isn't it?) does a great job portraying Shane. I haven't caught up with the latest couple of episodes. Really lost interest in the show. But now that I read spoilers, think I'll skip the sixth episode and proceed onto the seventh.

By now I would let half the cast bite the bullet and just find some new people who aren't completely retarded. Daryl is the only character I have a vested interest him from our original survivors. Maggie and Glen are okay too. The rest really could f*cking bite it and I wouldn't care. In the comics, Rick is a hard ass in the show he is a f*cking bitch. He gets pushed around by every character. Shane needs to die asap. This show is becoming really disappointing and unless they manage to pick it up in Feb, I doubt I'll stick around for the rest of Season 2 or even consider Season 3. Fnorg 1,924
As soon as Shane started butchering those zombies I knew that was coming. I agree that it would have been better if Shane been the one pulling the trigger because it would fit perfectly with the rest of the hammy sh*t this show pulls. Lame-ass poetic justice or whatever. Marlowe. 15
The Sophia twist would have been so much more satisfying if it were either A) revealed two weeks ago, or B) had Daryl (or anyone other than Otis) died looking for he. I'm betting with his Cowbow attitude, that Shane pulls an Andrea soon, killing a human (Dale or Calr, perhaps) mistaking them for a Walker (or so he me claim again). And maybe that'll be grounds for his departure. I don't want to see Shane dead, but rather excommunicated from the group.
Otter 7,936
I just want Rick to finally nut the f*ck up and show us why exactly the group - after spending months together as a group before he came along - chose him as their leader. In a show that's increasingly about personal relationships, I'd love to see some real social repercussions for once. I still think the show's a zillion times better than it was last season. It still feels like they're trying to work within a television formula, however, that's incredibly outmoded. This is a show where we expect and crave chaos. Rooting us in the ground with characters that could have been killed ages ago, locations that are boring us to death, and drawn out scenarios in order to hit emotional beats is f*cking silly, predictable, and old hat by now. Mix it up a little, guys! I do like how Kirkman's giving comic fans a nod now and then, though - Shane giving Carl the gun, for example. And I loved this mid-season-finale or whatever. Rick just needs to quit whining like a little bitch and start hacking some f*cking walkers to death. And put Shane down. Edited November 29, 2011 by Otter
