Uh... I didn't see what you guys were talking about in the trailer...

Hint, :26.

I really hope it's not what this comment on that video is suggesting, "I think Merle is going to be a figment of Daryl's imagination after he falls down a rocky hill and one of his crossbow bolts goes through his stomach."

Whoa, whoa, whoa, the preview for next week's episode....

MERL!? !?

In f*cking deed. I can't wait.

Did anyone else call Lori getting pregnant, when Shane dog f*cked the holy sh*t outta her? What a fun little twist! I honestly thought she grabbed the knife to go shank Shane or something. Gotta love the pointless scene where the crew.. "pulls" that zombie outta the well, sh*t was hilarious.

I'd tried hard refraining myself from watching the episode. I remember grinning while Shane did the thing. My cousin said it was pointless. Really hilarious.

Yeah, I dig this show again. It's pretty fun. Despite some of the idiocy.

I'm with you. After the last two episodes of last season I was ready to give up. But I loved this episode because of the idiocy. Fat, bloated water-zombie infecting the water? Why, let's send a human down there even though we obviously can lasso it from up here (loved seeing that thing rip in two). Or let's get naked and have sex in this abandoned totally unlettered from from the undead! Or let's have everyone speak in a really hokey way! I love it.

Despite the plot going almost nowhere, except for a + and a looming shot of the awesomest part or Herschel's story this was my favorite episode so far. It's so fun to watch both in the haha sense and the sense that's it decent TV. and the zombies look really good.

Hah. If I have to summed this week's episode in one word it would be "Hah".

Well scene. Sex scene. Hah.

I feel like Jon Berthal should at least get nominated for Best Supporting Actor. His portrayal of Shane is really brilliant. Oh and about Merle, glad they're bringing him back, partially at least. There's lots of possibilities to make Daryl a great character. Make him go lone wolf more and he could easily be one of the favorites of the show.

Maggie's cute. Hah.

Moon: Added spoilers. f*cking awesome, dude.

Daryl already is the best character on the show. He's the only one of them that knows what he's doing and why at every moment.

I think I might prefer something like that, because I still desperately want Merl to be The Judge. It would just be so f*cking perfect.

This season is no where near as good as the first season, Its just a group of people fighting zombies and trying to survive.I really have no motivation to keep watching this show anymore, Its basically a soap opera now.

So discussing about something on the next episode must be in spoiler tags then? Okay, got it and apologies.

You kidding me right? Season 1 was just a laughing mess! From the third episode onwards to the last, which is the sixth I remind you, was just laughable!

Season 2 aren't really that bad so far, besides some stupid scenes that really are unnecessary. Soap opera? Not getting it.

Daryl already is the best character on the show. He's the only one of them that knows what he's doing and why at every moment.

I know, he's like the only living person who's not an idiot. No wonder he doesn't mind going alone because all the other survivors would just be dumb along the way. I'm glad he was not part of that well scene. One of my favorite parts of the season so far was him saving the black guy in the first episode. Hell just put him in a room surrounded by nothing but zombies and he'll make the show real entertaining.

Watching that zombie burst like an over stuffed Burrito Supreme from Taco Bell put me off eating for the week.

It's funny how this show and Dexter are both bringing back major characters from previous seasons next week.

I never cared for Andrea, but now I hope she dies. Everyone was telling her not to shoot and what does she do? Jeez, I don't think I've ever been so upset at a fictional TV show character.

We shouldn't be worried about Daryl and his hallucinations, he was fighting with Merl the whole time and kinda showed me what kind of childhood he had with Merl as a brother. Seems like he resents him now. I liked Daryl's response when he got shot, "I was just kidding..." after he asked Rick if he was going to shoot him.

Well f*ck. No MERL.

Why do you want him so badly in the show? I get it, he's Merl, but other than that, what else? Did he play a big part in the comics or what?

Just when I thought I was losing interest in this show, it pulled off a Daryl centric episode. Me likey.

Andre doesn't deserve to die. She deserves to be turned into a zombie and just stay that way. Stupid bitch.

No comic spoilers, just show spoilers. But if you haven't kept up to date with the show, get the f*ck out of this thread and do so. Seriously.

Oh come on, guys. I was pissed that she shot Darrel too, but you've gotta admit he was walking quite a bit like a walker. I probably would have shot him, too. f*cking moron should have waved or something.

If anything, I liked her more after that, because she's not rolling over and letting the f*cking cavemen like Shane tell her what to do any more. And she's a pretty effing crack shot, too. As long as she quits over-emoting and focuses on shooting things, I can get firmly into Camp Andrea.

Digging the tension with Herschel; can't wait to see that good ol' boy crack. A bundle of self righteous morality - it's going to be fun when his little secret gets exposed. Glad they kept that part in, even as contrived as it may be that nobody's checked the bloody barn out yet.

Also, Don, yeah, the opening was odd. I mean, napalming the streets was pretty emotional - basically like watching the government turn on you. That was neat. But it was a pretty transparent attempt to point at the audience and say "see? THIS is why she went and made a kid with Shane! Or was it Rick? Bambumbum! She was totally stressed out, bro!" as if they're afraid to let the really awesome truth stand on its own: we're all animals, in the end. We don't need an excuse for f*cking and fighting for survival.

Anyhow, glad Merle was just a figment. Would have been a little silly to have him track them down when they can't even find a little girl lost in the same f*cking neighborhood as them.

She wasted a bullet and she could have drawn more walkers to the farm with the sound of the gun. All she had to do was let Rick or Shane cave in the skull of the "walker" and keep an eye out for any other walkers that may have been nearby.

I haven't had a problem with Andrea up until this episode, I mean she did watch her sister turn into a walker and then kill that walker. So I was willing to let her moodiness slide. But when she defied direct orders, she was just being a bitch.

Ah, come on. Rick took his gun. It wasn't a question of being quiet - it was once again, Andrea being told to shut up and sit down by the gung ho dudes. They're going to need her dead-eye in the future, that's for sure.

But she shot him whenever all 4-5 guys they had out there... stopped and Rick even put his gun down and starting talking to Daryl, it was bullsh*t. Why waste a bullet when half the crew goes out there to slaughter it? But, I admit, Daryl did look like a Walker.

Yeah I did see Rick with the gun and wondered to myself why he had it. Of course it could have been because he planned on shooting Darryl in the face. Though at the time when I watched the episode, I read it that Rick was taking his gun just in case they got down there and found a group of 4 more walkers coming out of the forest.

Of course we can't know for sure these things, but I stand by my opinion that Andrea was wrong to shoot.

Yeah, that was silly. Not to mention the fact that she was firing directly into a crowd of friendlies. I chalk that up to poor directing/editing - something there's been a lot of this season. Take the opening scene where they were all standing around planning, for example, and random f*ckwit we haven't seen yet suddenly joins the group and starts talking (side note... memories of Lost here! Why can't they just introduce the whole f*cking group, amirite?) - but that scene was horribly edited, and I'm not just saying that as an editor. At least, I don't think I was. My wife said she had trouble figuring out who the f*ck was saying what as well.

Also, you don't fall onto arrows. That just doesn't happen. Particularly in such a way that it passes clean through you. If that were the case, we'd just throw them at people and do away with the whole bow thing.

But like I said earlier in the thread, you've just got to take these things with a grain of salt.

I mean, have any of these idiots ever heard of armor? That one walker was gnawing on Daryl's boot. If they can't chew through leather, then f*cking suit up when you go on raids and sh*t. I mean, it'd kind of be fun to have these mindless idiots drooling on you and tickling you and sh*t if there was no way for them to bite you.

But thinking logically isn't fun. Let's throw a character into a well with a flesh eating monster. Nothing to lose, right?

So anyhow. Instead of faulting Andrea, the character, I fault the blocking and editing. Or something. Someone get me a beer, I feel a rant coming on.

Maybe he just wasn't sure if Daryl was a walker? He was all covered in blood.

Or maybe he was shocked by how injured he was.

Anyways, Andrea should never disobey a direct order again, stupid bitch.

Anyone else dosn't like the old man? He is being kind of dick now.

Preach man, preach. I love this series, but I start to think logically after the show is done just like with all you said. It's good sh*t, but once you sit down and think about it... these survivors are stupid as sh*t. The random "kid" throw in to help find the girl was just a way for Hershel to get his trousers in a bunch like you said it didn't even go into detail.

It's all good. I'll be ready for the next episode like always.

Anybody else see the 'sneak peek' trailer for the new episode? Glenn spilling the beans on Lori being pregnant. Should be interesting.

About that, how long was Rick in a coma? It couldn't possible be Shane's baby, not that fast it won't happened.

About that, how long was Rick in a coma? It couldn't possible be Shane's baby, not that fast it won't happened.

Pregnancy happens pretty quick. But they've had plenty of time...

This guy has worked out a timeline. I'm not entirely sure he's got the timing correct after Rick wakes up - things seem to happen rather fast if this is the case. Also, he only covers up to the first ep of season two.

http://www.roamersandlurkers.com/topic/984-timeline-v20/

Rick was in a coma for 131 days before the outbreak. Didn't join up with the group until Day 60. That's 190 days ~ 6 months. We can take that as canon. We can easily rule out that the baby is Rick's pre-outbreak. The question actually becomes "has Rick had enough time to get Lori pregnant after reuniting"? And if you go by this guy's timeline, the answer is pretty safe to say, no.

TIMELINE: Spoilers, obviously.

Pre Global Outbreak:

131 days before Global Outbreak Wildfire started. (I.e. first case of zombie infection). (ep5)

Rick and Shane discuss Rick’s family. No mention of zombies. (ep1)

Rick and Shane and Leon Bassett engage in shootout. Rick gets shot and passes out. (ep1)

Shane visits Rick in hospital with flowers. (ep1)

Day 0 - Global outbreak

Day 0 Morning:

Hanna and her daughter Jamie and son Billy sit on the sofa and look at their dead goldfish in the fish bowl. They have a fish funeral around the toilet bowl. They go for a drive in their SUV. (Web1)

Judy walks down the street with some groceries. She sees a woman lying next to a car in front of Palmer's undecorated house. While doing CPR she gets bitten and infected. Presumably, Judy escapes and wanders off. (Web3)

Mike Palmer's front yard is decorated for his 50th birthday. (Web1)

Andrew's dog Max is "torn into" by something/someone. (web4)

Rick is in a coma at hospital.

Shane investigates a disturbance at the Taylor residence. Leon picks up a infected man at a bar and locks him in the back of a police car. (Dead Reckoning web game)

Day 0 Afternoon:

While looking for a gun to put his dog down, Andrew encounters Palmer in his basement. Palmer informs him that the CDC is looking for a cure and that he shot his wife but not his kids. He gives Andrew a gun after he (non-verbally) agrees to shoot him. (web4)

Andrew shoots his dog in the backyard, comes inside to wash up and notices the power going out. (web3)

Andrew encounters an infected Judy and shoots her in the stomach. He covers her in the rug. (web3)

Hannah gets into a car accident trying to avoid a mob and is knocked unconscious. Her kids leave the car and go to Andrew's house. (web1)

Hannah awakens in her car to find her kids missing. She runs through the neighborhood and notices a dead body on Palmer's front lawn amidst party decorations. (web1)

Hannah encounters a walker eating a dead body and is chased by the walker to the front of Andrew's house. Andrew shoots the walker and lets Hannah into the house. (web1)

Once Hannah is inside the house the kids hug their mother. Andrew asks Hannah about her injury. (web2)

As Hannah and Andrew chat, Billy asks to go outside and wake Max. Andrew tells him no and tells him to put the dog bowl away. Billy walks near a rug and noises can be heard coming from it. (web2)

As Jamie and Billy talk Judy (now a zombie) rises. They hide under the table and then in the closet as Judy stalks them. Just as they are discovered, Hannah kills Judy with an axe. (web5)

Day 0 Evening:

Andrew decides they need to go to Atlanta for safety. He goes over to Mike Palmers house to get truck keys but is killed by Palmers walker kids. (web6)

Hannah hearing a helicopter announcement decides to leave the house with the kids. Once on the street they are pursued by several walkers. Hannah is bitten on the arm and says goodbye to her kids. The kids escape. Hannah is torn apart by the walkers. (web6)

Day 0 to Day 5 (?) -

Shane visits Rick in Hospital. Military is shooting staff. Power is on at Hospital but goes out due to explosion. Shane listens for Rick’s heartbeat. Walkers roam the halls of the hospital. Shane leaves Rick and blocks the door with a bed. (ep6)

Lori/Carl leave house with Shane.

Between Day 1 to Day 53

Quarry Camp established (?)

Hannah has decayed and turned into "bicycle zombie". (web6)

Day 30-33 -

The French come close to finding a cure according to Jenner. (ep6)

Jenner losses outside communication. Electrical Grid is lost. (ep6)

Jenner at CDC starts trying to shut down scrubbers to conserve electricity. (ep5)

Gas lines stop working according to Morgan. (ep1)

~Day 53 - Lori starts suggesting to Shane to post signs on Hwy 85 to warn people. (ep1)

Day 60 - Rick wakes up in hospital and has drink of water. Tries phone and gets no dial-tone. He leaves the hospital and sees multitudes of dead bodies. Rick sees bicycle-zombie, and bikes to his house to find Lori/Carl missing, encounters Morgan/Duane who knock him unconscious and bring him to Rick's neighbors house. Morgan explains outbreak/disease to Rick. Walkers (w/ Morgan's wife) surround house at night but don't get in. Car alarm set off outside house.(ep1)

Day 61 - After killing a lurker with a bat Rick goes to his house in morning and finds photo albums gone, Duane suggests Rick's family is in Atlanta, Morgan suggests CDC as safe place. (ep1) Rick/Morgan/Duane goes to police dept, shower and get guns. Rick gives Morgan a radio and shoots . Morgan says he will follow in a few days once Duane has learned to shoot. Rick kills bicycle zombie/Hannah and leaves for Atlanta. Morgan returns home and tries unsuccessfully to shoot his zombie wife. Rick stops at Gas station north of Hwy 85 at shoots zombie girl (start ep1), Rick makes radio transmission on Hwy 85 which quarry camp hears, Rick runs out of Gas, finds dead people at farm house, gets horse, Rick arrives in Atlanta on horseback and sees helicopter reflection. He follows and encounters a herd. He makes refuge inside a tank. He makes Radio contact with Glenn.

Rick escapes from tank and meets Glenn + others (ep2). They are upset about the noise he made on the street which has attracted the walkers to the building. Lori/Shane has sex at camp. After a disagreement Merle is handcuffed to roof. Rick and Glenn cover themselves with zombie guts and gain access to a van. The group leaves department store without Merle with Glenn causing a distraction with a red sports car. The van arrives at quarry camp and Glenn brings red car to camp. Rick reunites with Lori/Carl. Later there is a campfire discussion about Merle. Lori & Rick have sex at night. Jim has strange dream.

Day 62 - Jim & Dale scavenge red car for parts/gas, while Carol cleans Rick's clothes a walker nears camp and starts eating deer. Darryl arrives back at quarry camp looking for Merle. Merle meanwhile is trying to retrieve a hacksaw to escape. Rick makes a decision to return to Atlanta. Rick/Glenn/TDog/Darryl travels to Atlanta to retrieve guns, they go to the department store to see Merle has left. Back at camp Shane argues with Lori then Shane beats Ed (ep3) Amy and Andrea catch fish in the quarry pond. Jim starts digging holes which alarms Dale. Shane confronts Jim and after knocking him down ties him to a tree. Back in Atlanta Rick & co follow Merle's trail but decide to retrieve the guns before searching the streets. They encounter Miguel and Glenn is captured by some thugs. After a showdown with the Vatos they be-friend them and talk with the Vatos leader Guillermo. They return to the van to find it gone they set out on foot back to camp. Back at camp Shane frees Jim and invites him to the fish-fry. Ed declines to join them. There is a campfire discussion about Dale's watch. The camp is attacked by many walkers and Amy is bitten/killed. Ed + 11 others are killed. Rick & Co arrive in time to fight off walkers. (ep4)

Day 63 - At the CDC, Dr. Jenner makes morning transmission and states Wildfire started 194 days ago and global outbreak was 63 days ago. (ep5) He loses TS-19 samples. Back at camp the quarry survivors bury/burn dead. Amy reanimates and Andrea shoots her. Jim's bite is discovered. After realizing they are no longer safe at camp the survivors leave quarry and part ways with Morales and family. They leave Jim by tree while the RV is repaired. The survivors arrive at CDC as it gets dark. Rick pleads with CDC camera to let them in. CDC door opens.

Group goes inside CDC and meets Dr. Jenner. They proceed to get blood tests. (ep6) Group eats and drinks. Group takes hot showers. Rick and Jenner talk. Shane confronts Lori. Everyone sleeps.

Day 64 - Group awakens with hangovers and eats eggs. Group sees Enhanced Internal View of TS-19. Jacqui comments that Andrea lost someone (Amy) two days ago (day 62). Jenner states that building is in lockdown mode. After finding no gasoline in basement the group confronts Jenner who locks them in viewing room. Rick persuades Jenner to unlock doors. Jenner whispers in Rick’s ear. The group proceeds upstairs without Dale, Andrea and Jacqui. Using a grenade they escape the CDC and board the 5 vehicle caravan. Dale and Andrea emerge from the CDC. Jacqui and Jenner remain in the CDC as it explodes. The caravan departs the CDC area lead by Rick and family in the RV and Shane in a Jeep at the rear. The caravan stops somewhere for the night.

Season 2:

Day 65 - The group reduce their caravan from 5 cars to the RV, the Station Wagon and a motorbike. Not much else is known about this day.

Day 66 - In the morning Rick makes a transmission to Morgan stating they lost Jacqui "the day before last" (day 64). The group boards the caravan and head out on the highway. The RV breaks down and the group stops to fix it and gather supplies. A herd of zombies approach the group. A biter attacks Andrea in the RV, which she kills with a screwdriver. T-dog is injured and Sophia is chased by two walkers into the woods. Rick pursues Sophia and finds her. Rick kills the two walkers. Sophia is lost. Back at the highway the group looks for supplies. Shane fixes up a car and the group hears a radio transmission. Rick and Darryl search for Sophia but only find the woodchuck walker. They gut open the walker to see if human remains are within. They return to the RV and the group sleeps.

Day 67 - The group awakens and gets changed into new clothes. Andrea confronts Dale about their decisions at the CDC. Dale and T-Dog wait at the RV while the rest of the group goes into the woods to search for Sophia. They find a tent and Darryl pockets a gun. They hear bells and run through a graveyard to a church. They enter the church and kill the three lurkers inside. Glenn disables the church bells. Carol prays for Sophia. Lori and Shane discuss Shane leaving. Andrea talks to Shane about leaving the group. Shane, Rick and Carl remain behind to search for Sophia. The rest of the group makes their way back to the RV. Lori confronts Carol about Rick. While searching for Sophia, Carl sees a deer in a clearing and approaches it. Suddenly the deer and Carl are shot. Rick runs to his son while Shane sweeps the area.

Now I may be wrong, but I was given the impression in season 1 that there was also - not only marital problems with Rick and Lori - an affair happening before Rick was shot. So the question becomes.... how can it POSSIBLY be Rick's baby?

Jesus, it IS a soap opera! Someone call Maury!

Shane is a monster. And he's not even that interesting a monster. I'd be happy if they follow through with the storylines from the comic and introduce bloody Michonne (I know, wait for the prison, right?) and Tyreese. I've seen Kirkman talk about how changes to the plot are meant to keep us on our toes... anyone can go! Well, no one's going. Apart from dudes we just meet. I hope the series doesn't become a predictable redshirt massacre.

An interesting thing about the comics... pretty high mortality rate. wink.gif

Am I the only one who immediately expected the semi-hot farmer's daughter type chick to push Glenn down into the barn full of zombies to keep Herschel's secret?

Also, Andrea and Dale having a casual chuckle about her serious f*ck up afterward irked the sh*t out of me. He needs to get off her nuts.
