xana
Yes, It's a request and Yes, I'm not in the request topic. Why ? Because he's dead. This is the 3D models I've found on internet, ok ? This models are replacing parachute. I want to replace by something else of " player.img " like watches, hats, etc... Someone can do it ? I have the models and It don't take too much time I suppose. I will give a link to the download if someone want to do this Thanks
JohnPro
Having them purchaseable makes it fixed on the model. So even after you have used the parachute its still going to be on him. If you picked up a parachute which used a different model then you would have two parachutes on his back. just pick 1 out of the 2 and be contented with it. JohnPro
If I'm understanding this correctly then its a piece of cake. Send me the model of the bullet proof vest and I shall replace the field shirt in Binco. The method I would use is, (so its not a useless request topic) You need, 3ds max any kind of IMG manager Kams max scripts TXD workshop ________________________________________ Now. for example we wanted to replace Field.dff -Import the bulletproof vest into 3ds max. -Open "KAMS DFF IO" script -Switch "A" on -Press "Import DFF" -Select the original field.dff -Select the first clump, press "Import" above Now simply drag your bullet proof vest and align it with the imported SA model. Click the SA model and attach it to the Bulletproof vest. Now delete the original SA mesh and you should now have only the bulletproof vest and SKIN modifier applied to it. -At export, click DFF IO and place a check in the checkbox of "As SA bodypart" and "Rename Root Bone as" and then click on "Ripped" -Now click on "Bones/Skin Export, and export it to a new Field.dff -After exporting the RIPPED version we need to export FAT and Normal, so place a check in the checkbox of "Append export to dff" and click on "Fat", click bones/export and select the first field.dff you exported. -lastly, select "Append export to dff" again and root bone as "Normal", then export it to the new Field.dff -Field.dff should now have 3 rigged models inside it Ripped, Fat and normal. Next is to open player.img found in GTA San Andreas/models/player.img -Search for Field.dff -Replace it with the New field.dff you made in 3ds max -Leave the original TXD and test your DFF. If the game crashes you made an error. Try reading to make sure you didn't skip any steps. If the game doesnt crash then move on to the TXD, simply open field.txd and import your texture over the existing. No need to rename the texture and no need to Compress it. If the game crashes after replacing the TXD then try resizing your Texture the same size as the original. If the original field.txd is 128x128 then resize your texture to 128x128. Also make sure that you replace the TXD in the IMG not the DFF, sometimes if the DFF and TXD have the same name we replace the wrong one and that also causes a crash.
