The reflection effect of the floor, is the mirror thingy SA has or you mirrored the whole damn city downside and putted alpha to all roads?

 

anyway its nice, but those red arrows and stuff will appear just when a race starts or will be all the time annoying you?

i'm sorry my bad i forget gta3 has realtime reflections.

 

we are talking about gta3 here, what were you expecting, real time refs?

 

and i'm gonna find a solution for arrows dont worry.

I was working in a project similar to this some time ago, but I realized GTA's engine sucks for racing games. Anyway, good look on that, seems real cool, I'm just wondering how you got thing to reflect wow.gif

Looks sweet! Those road reflections look like actual shaders.

 

Edit: I finally understand what 2dfx lighting is. Could you not use 2dfx lighting for neons? The ones replacing the shadows look sh*t.

yea that was my idea at first using 2dfx lightnings for neons in mod, but since i dont know anything about modelling, until i found a guy can do it, its just gonna be colorful shadows.

Pardon my Gimp skills. I just want you to fill those holes (better if you make borders/fences for all grass spots) so it looks better and is better. Just because player can drive in wrong lane of those shortcuts..

This looks to be a good mod are you gonna script races? You should add a nfs-style racing handling.cfg with racing physics and stuff.

I suggest removing the arrow sign blocking access to the hidden pier/dock in portland or move it so its still accesable. smile.gif

Anyways if you need help with handlings i'm in.

My style is somewhat close to Gran Turismo but as it's GTA3 i may do something more arcadey like NFS.

ms.cooldude will help me with script. he will do it. also new safehouses with interiors.

Everything is so awesome! Never liked chinatown and wanted to suggest to cover it with some usual buildings but this is so nice!

 

Those cars and palms are letdown though.
