They are playing excellently what are you talking about? If theres anyone who plays boringly its Holland. And I hate how the commentator on the BBC Mark Lawrenson keeps saying their play is very simple as if hes trying to downplay the Germans skill. If its so simple why didnt England do it? Every team that made it could play that way, they choose NOT to though. That being said it doesn't mean they will do it aswell as Germany, Portugal were similar but lacked the finish which Germany are amazing at.

And those two goals put Klose level with the German legend Gerd Muller and one behind Ronaldo as the all time leading World Cup goalscorer, that's some feat.

 

With Germany's solid defensive display and the way they keep the two lines of 4 when defending, Spain may find themselves in the same boat as Argentina in struggling to break through them. Plus if they do get past Xavi and Iniesta with the counter attack Puyol and Pique may find themselves in a bit of trouble as they aren't the fastest. (i think Spain will overcome Paraguay by the way)

Fair enough it might bore after a while but I find it entertaining as of now.

 

 

I really dont think all the teams could play that way especially because of that comment someone made earlier about there being "too many chiefs not enough indians" in many of the big teams (England included)Germany defintely pass around and look for people in better positions.

 

Basically your're saying that if teams choose NOT to play that way they're choosing style over substance which is a bad decision to make. And they all seem to be paying the price for it since they are all being eliminated.

So much controversy first a penalty for Paraguay which they miss and a few seconds later a penalty which is missed by Spain!!

If you look a t the replay once Spain missed it Villa is tripped by the goalie again for another penalty which the ref missed!!?
