Looks like Brazil will be looking for a new manager again seeing as Dunga's contract was only for 4 years and it's not getting extended. Brazil should follow Argentina's suit and get a playing legend to manage them, Pele as a manager at the World Cup would be awesome but he may struggle to get past a semi.

Suarez has always been like that, at least, he does the same at Ajax where he currently plays.

Regardless of whatever you think about Gyan and his mistake, the ball was clearly sailing into the back of the net for a 2-1 dramatic Ghana victory and the first ever African semi-finalist. Instead? We get Suarez hand balling the f*cking ball, and in the long run actually robbing Ghana of a deserved victory. Not only was the foul blatant, unsporting (as well as leaving a foul taste in any spectators mouth) but Ghana were the better team.

 

It just makes me sick that a team who are just now developing are denied a historic place in the semis. I know they had a juicy chance to nail the win but wouldn't it have been better if Gyan's incompetence hadn't come into? Simply said, if Suarez didn't hand ball like a f*cking asshole then the goal was certain, and Ghana would have got there justified victory. But no.

The real issue is about the rules imo.

A handball on the line should be considered a goal and a red card. Never a penalty.

Ghana was the best team. They made too many mistakes, true, but they had scored the second goal if rules weren't so stupid.

Germany are so damn good on the counter attack and they're playing as a team, if you luck at England and Argentina then the players seem to be trying to do much and trying to take glory but the German's will pass if they see someone in a better position.

 

I can't remember if it was Lahm or Mueller but one of them said England basically had to many chiefs and not enough indians, Argentina seem to be the same.

 

I see that mystery green laser pen make another appearance .

Not impressed, they got by Argentina because Argentina have a sh*t defense. Depending on how Spain do I guess we'll see how Germany will do against a team with a solid def... Spain put Portugal out I expect them to do the same to Germany providing they can win.

Silly Maradona, one cannot just freelance in a World Cup, you can't blindly believe that the overrated Messi will just lead your team to the finals. That may be possible, if he had Xavi and Iniesta backing him up, but that's a different story again. I kinda feel sorry for Maradona, since the truth hit him so harsh, but it had to hit him once.
