I knew we would lose today but i was hopeful we could win.

 

We were absolute sh*te, why was Cole, Terry and Upson all bunched towards the left hand side looking like they're swapping Pokemon cards causing Johnson to run over and cover which then left sh*t loads of space on Germany's left.

 

First goal was a joke, one kick beats our whole team and the two CB's are lost. 2nd goal again our whole defence was no where and no one ran onto the goal line. Got back into the game at 2-1 and then robbed against the German's again, at 2-2 there is a chance of a win.

 

You've got 4 CM's in midfield and there is no wing play and there's no link up play to the front men. 4-1 down and we need a goal and what does Capello do? takes off Defoe and brings on Heskey.

 

The players have been sh*t since those 3 warm up games but Capello has f*cked us up this World Cup. I expected the defeat but not by 4 goals to 1.

 

Anyway it's adopt a team time, come on Spain.

It's not over yet, but El Tri needs a serious gut check. The time to play defensively is over. Problem is, Mexico has mostly been a defensive team in this Cup thus far, with chances being relatively few and far between compared to Argentina.

The coach will probably put in Vela/Barrera and Cuahtemoc Blanco for the 2nd half. Mexico needs more movement and touch in the offensive side.

Yeah, they showed it here in America on ABC. Looked pretty intense but at least no punches were thrown.

This is probably Cuauhtemoc's last Cup so it'd be awesome to see him spark a comeback for Mexico. He's probably the greatest playmaker in Mexican football history and might be able to help create enough chances to make this interesting, if nothing else.

I think it's almost guaranteed that Vela or Barrerra will come on. Blanco - I'm not so sure, maybe if Mexico fail to grab a goal back early in the second.

2nd half started. Yup I was right, Bofo is out, Barrera is in. Like the way this kid moves on the pitch, hopefully he'll create some chances.
