What can I say about England that hasn't already been said? Nothing, so I'll talk about Germany.

 

Germany's midfield was immense, Ozil imposed himself on the dreadful English defense, Podolski and Muller did their job on the wings, Khedira and Schwinestiger made some great passes. Obviously a great offensive performance. Who is Michael Ballack again? And you know Germany is f*cking with England when they put on Mario Gomez.

The English should have just taken the ball and not allowed the game to continue. I'd do that if i was sure that the goal stood. Then the referee would be forced by the players to watch the replay, and he'd have to rule the goal.

That can't/wouldn't happen in International football, Sepp Blatter would most likely declare war on Azerbaijan than let that potential event happen...To be on the forefront of things, the officials have been poor in the majority of games during this World Cup, and it is ruining it an extent (i.e. Chile...).

England have a team of good players however there's no team work, there's no synergy between the players at all. It's f*cking atrocious to watch, i'm glad England are out now as I don't feel they deserve to be there anyway after the dreadful group stages. No improvement at all, I really hope people wake the f*ck up and drop these old dead beats and start to build a new squad of younger players. Things need to change majorily, this entire tournament has just shown how washed up England are.

Whether or not this is stereotypical, it's the truth and it's a good a thing, the best work/team ethic concentrated teams have come from Asia this World Cup; South Korea, North Korea, Japan, the problem with England is that they contain too many £250,000 ego's.

I felt he made some poor poor choices over the entire tournament. He has a great record - noone can argue with that but he doesn't seem to understand England as a team but what do I know, i'm just an outsider looking in either way it will be interesting to see if he sticks around or legs it

Yes, that ball was cleary behind the line. Should have been a goal for England.

 

BUT....

I have NEVER seen such an embarassing performance by England. Im really shocked. This was such an easy win... I dont know what to think. It should have been a 6 - 3 for Germany. But i had NO doubt that we will win this.

This is the revenge for 1966, the Wembley goal!

Germany played better than England, but not "awesomely better" or any of that sh*t, after the 'ghost goal' we did what any other side would do, which is put 9/10 men up the pitch, and Germany successfully hit us on the counter twice after half-time. If Germany were going to win the World Cup, they'd have hit us for the counter for 5 or 6. You'll get to the Semi's but Spain (most likely, I'm 90% sure, they're immense...) or Brazil will win it.

 

Are you watching Sepp Blatter? I assume Goal-Line technology will be coming into football very, very soon after this tournament, yet another terrible call by the LINESMAN (the Referee had nothing to do with the call). Mexicano, that was an incredibly harsh, and incorrect call!
