This world cup has proved to be one of the more controversial I've witnessed in recent memory. They are falling apart and I cant see them going pass the group stage. All I see is France are getting their comeuppance.

Your recent memory seems to be short, because France have been controversial and sh*tty for quite a while.

I meant to say this world cup overall has been full of controversy, the vuvezelas, germany, spain losing, england's shoddy play and now anelka being sent home. Didnt mean France alone has been controversial.

 

 

This match right now is lively, half time but this could go either way since they've both created some great chances for themselves.

I really expected them to do better, they've plenty of quality. Paul Le Guen's a terrible manager, though, so I suppose that doomed them from the outset. I hope Denmark go through now after tonight's performance, Japan are one of the most boring teams I've ever watched.

I thought it was actually quite a even match, Germany perhaps looked a bit sharper, but they were poor in front of goal. They had quite a lot of decisions f*ck it up for them, most notably Klose getting sent off.

 

As for jingoistic journalism, you can ask any Scot, Welshman or Irishman how every airwave, newspaper and website in the land are full with ENG-ER-LAND nonsense. Look on the bright side man, at least the rubbish you have to put up with is about your own country!

lmfao i know , i live in new zealand and everyone acts as if we actually won the game! But lol we are going to get our asses kicked by italy and well be out of the cup before we know it, unless some miracle happens and italy plays badly which i doubt....
