I think Portugal - Ivory Coast is going to be a very interesting match. It already is very interesting.

Was expecting a lot more from this match, it surprised me that Ivory Coast was stronger than Protugal but it didn't result in any goals unfortunately

One North Korean dude was brought to tears during their anthem. I can only imagine the harsh conditions back in their country and their utter overwhelmingness of emotions to be able to play on this world stage.

The NK players will probably be playing their heart out, anything to stay out of that country for as long as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't go home after getting knocked out.

 

As much as I despise the country and the things the people/person in power there do/does, it's in my interest for them to win to recoup my money on a sweepstakes. I don't see them taking the trophy though, somehow.

 

A South Korea vs North Korea final would be hilarious though.

Well that's what the German commentator said just before the game started. Im too lazy now to do some research on that.

This is the bigget, wildest moment in any of those guys' lives. For the Brazilians this is just another match in the World Cup. For the Koreans it is something on a level they've never seen.

 

Thing is, 17 minutes in and they are not looking bad at all. Or is it the Brazilians just playing too defensively?

Brazil are defintely playing the offense theres no need to play defense against this team but fair play to NK they are holding up well.
