So after the events of IV and Ballad of Gay Tony, the hobo takes the diamonds over to Vice City, but when arrived he is ambushed by what is thought to be Ken Rosenburg, who is now in the criminal underworld controlling half of the City. It is your job as a fellow Hobo and a Patriot to get these diamonds back and open up your Gun Shop. On your way of doing so you run into Vice's famous motorcycle gangs, Cuban Gangs even more Hobos. I think that the story of " IV " was written with the next Grand Theft Auto in mind , which will set in the same world of " IV " , and it will continue the story of diamonds . That hobo , who appeared at the final cutscene of the Ballad of Gay Tony , was shown in the cutscene for a reason in mind . In addition to that , he had his own short story in WEAZEL news , which is about him going to Vice City to open a gun shop . Also , let's not forget when Packie appeared in the credits , going inside the airport while he's carrying a bag of money . All these cutscenes were shown for a reason , and that reason is that they are indications from the story writers that both of them , the hobo and Packie will be coming back in the next Grand Theft Auto . True, he is now rich he will probably have a mansion on Starfish Island if it is around in the new rendition of Vice City. I imagine that we will probably see Packie again and if V is in Vice City we will probably even do some mission for the both of them. Not to mention Jerry Kapowitz (The former Hobo) said he was going to open a gun shop/liquor store so I imagine that he would probably be able to hook you up with some good high tech weaponry which would be very cool. Shark_Cipriani Posted May 25, 2010 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Also, there were speculations about Darkel the hobo in GTA III (who is believed to be cut out of game cos of 9/11) and he was supposed to be a mission giver, rampage-esque missions to be exact. And Claude, who has more than enough self-respect was going to work for him. And for the safehouse thing, we could sleep under bridges,or maybe dark alleys. I personally don't care about the protag or about the place (would prefer VC though) or weapon customization much. Yea, but he still had a garage. I like the idea of sleeping under a bridge or in an alley. To buy stuff you could use coins as well until later on where you get dollar bills.
