Mission Won't Load: No. 3

I bought EFLC a few days ago and I starfted playing ELFC.. It wosnt working pretty smoothly on my Windows 7 so I switched back to Windows XP and it started working pretty well on it.. I dunno The FPS as I don't know how to find it out... So I started playing it and it occasionally crashed but not so much..

On a few missions It got stuck on Loading Screens.. These were "Momma's Boy" And "Sexy time" and the one where go to top of rotterdam tower and Kill ahmed then parachute down..

But.. depending on whether I skipped the cutscene of watched it it worked.. For eg. Momma's Boy worked when i skipped the scene... And Sexy time worked when I watched it..

 

So Now i'm on Mori's mission "No.3" It doesnt hang immediately but stops when I reach the place with the cars.. I watched the scene and skipped it as well but It still didnt work.. What do I do??

 

I'm running the game on the least possible settiings and my computer specs are

RAM: 1GB

Intel Core 2 duo E7400 @ 2.8GHz

Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS

Windows XP service pack 3

400Gb Hard disk..

 

What should I do to get it to work??

Go to the Controls and lift down the Cars.

I know I have to go to the controls and Bring down the cars...

But How am I supposed to do that when the Game is on stuck on the loading screen??

I have to say, A Core 2 duo and a GeForce 8400 is barely the minimal requirements. Maybe that's your problem.

Nope, I play on a Pentium 4 and it works for me!

I had a similar problem at "Momma's Boy" and Yusef's second mission. the solution was to lower the settings to low or off where possible and the lowest screen resolution too, also the missions had to be done at night-time (try at about 00:00, sitting on bed and than hitting exit advances time by 6 hours without saving, optional: time can be set by trainer )

PS: if you need saves you will have to get xliveless and upload your save since many here have finished the storyline.

2. However I had problems with No.3 and I have original version, but only pirate versions got those errors on other missions...strange, ain't it? Anyways killing myself, replaying mission by not skipping any cutscenes worked for me.

Well It worked And It didnt work..

At first i ran It at night time and it worked.. I played and failed the mission twice and then re-played.

On my third replay the Framerate suddenly went down to I guess 1FPS.. making it impossible to play..

So I had to quit the game and start again.. Now it keeps getting stuck on the same loading screen..

I kept my settings at lowest and even Used a trainer to freeze time at 00:00 but it still won't work..

I guess I'll have to use the save file uploaded By Pajkoooo

i have the original dlc and mine still crashes after the cutscene. tried playing it on low settings (everything on low) it still won't work. please help

For anyone getting the loading screen error try this. Go to start and then games, right click on the icon and select 'play in safe mode'. The graphics won't be good but just go back to playing in normal mode once you have completed the problematic mission.

Did u mod the game? As in the Turismo or F620 or the Bullet? If so, i guess that should be the case. It was the same for me too. For me, I modded the Turismo, which was the reason for the freeze. When I restored it back, it was back t normal.

Try this, go to start and then games, right click on the icon and select 'play in safe mode'. The graphics won't be good but just go back to playing in normal mode once you have completed the problematic mission. If that doesn't work then change all your settings to the lowest they can go. Both of these methods have worked for some people.

I get the same issue. No Internet connection and running xp sp3, how do I run it in safe mode? I tried compatibility mode which doesn't help. I tried going at night and won't load either. I had the exact same issues about skipping the scenes and were able to lever down the car once or twice, now it just flickers on the loading screen.

I suspect it could be games for windows but w/o Internet I can't update it. My copy is legit btw.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Can somebody play my save for me? I also have the same issue. After I skip the cutscene wherein Mori paid the guy for some reason, I get stuck on the loading screen. I've tried many times and still, it gets stuck. Can someone help me get pass this mission? I'll post my save here though but I don't know how to. Hehe. Help me please. Thanks.
