AutoFWDcross Posted May 10, 2010 Share Posted May 10, 2010 I wanted to do some recording of the game using Unregistered Hypercam 2. It lagged so I searched up ways to make it not lag, and I followed this vids instructions and I change the hardware acceleration to "None", but after that, when I click gta_sa.exe, nothing happens. I see the mouse loading thing but it disappears after like a second. Anyone know the problem. Please thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

alexrdh Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 (edited) If you're on vista or 7, try setting compatibility mode to Windows 98. And btw, when you record with hypercam, fraps, or any other game recording tools, at a high res, it naturally lags. (in my experience, at least.) lil weasel Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 (edited) If your video card is barely handling the game it would not be suprising to have it lag when doing double duty with the recording. You didn't spec how much Dedicated Memory your video card has.
