there's a mention of a canyon in the world event list, which obviously would be based on one in gerogia since that has the nearest canyon to Florida. There's also the mountain we saw in the leaks that is taller than anything found in gerogia

& There's the "okeefeenoke" which was mentioned in a highway board which is very likely based on the okeefeenoke swamp in Gerogia

At first I was stupefied when people keep saying Port Gellerhorn is based on Panama City. Now, I just found out that there's gonna be a canyon from Georgia and there's gonna be a mountain that apparently doesn't belong to Florida.

 

I guess my bet of Atlanta somehow appearing in GTA VI isn't dumbfounded.

Also feel free to move mine. Didn't realize there's a separate topic, I keep getting confused.

I'd love if the map turned out to be like this. It'd be the ideal direction to take if they want their GTA Florida to be a combination of it and Georgia, like how GTA California is a composite of Cali itself, Nevada and Arizona too I believe.

SA includes Area 51 too, which is in New Mexico. It takes from much of the southwest.

Finnished the 2 eastmost islands. There's a hotel and a trailer park in Tablista Key for surfing and a small marina, a lighthouse and some residencial zones in Gator East.

Looks great. Def add a radial gradient to/inset the ocean layer and use a proper typeface for the landmarks and neighborhoods to make it look more professional

 

You could also populate the middle countryside area with more towns or some contour lines/swamplands to denote topographical or geographical differences as it feels like theres too much empty space.

I'm working on it. These are the last details for this project, because they're gonna be on top of the structures of the map.
But I'm going to add the shoreline and am already planning on putting the neighbourhoods and landmarks in a distinct font, placed on top of the map. These are just guidelines and placeholders so I can still know where is where in here without getting lost.
