and by the way i drew this on paper (i didn't scan it) then i took a picture with my ipod touch 4g and then i edited it on paint! which was a little hard for me but anyways give feedback please!!!!

I kind of like it tbh. Has a certain style to it. It does however look slightly rushed and some of the roads look a bit unfinished, but if it's a WIP, that's cool.

Still working on it, but here's what I have so far. I believe this the set up Rockstar will go for. To imagine how big this really is, just imagine you're at the golf course, near the top right corner.

 

I'm surprised I didn't get any comments on this.. is it that bad?

I personally wouldn't mind seeing more highways etc on it, but it's ubercool

Here's a map I was making for a GTA based on London. Never quite got round to finishing it, and probably never will, so I thought I might as well post it as it is. The unfinished area in the top left was gonna have a country estate with a stately home and a port area based on Portsmouth.

Cheers Never know, I might finish it still, but it took months to get this far and eventually I ran out of steam and moved on. There was never any real concept behind it, I just wanted to try and create a GTA-style map that was to London what GTAIV's LC was to New York.

 

I kinda imagined the game would begin with a jumbo jet flying in towards the white cliffs of Dover, cutting to the protagonist sitting on the plane. After a brief chat with a hostess or passanger or something he'd then look out the window and it would cut to a view of the city below, before landing at Heathrow airport at the west. The protagonist would then walk out of the terminal and the first mission would see the player hail a taxi, then take a scenic route through the city before you get to your first contact somewhere in the east of the city, probably in the West Ham style area around the small football ground. After that....who knows.

Hey guys, a new map from me.

I don't usually make maps or post in this section but I do visit it to see some of the nice creations in here.

 

I usually started making a map then wasn't happy with it so I deleted them, but this one I will work on until completion.

This obviously won't be the size of the map, as I add more I will increase the size of the document.

 

This was it's state as of the 4th of September.

 

This is it now, so far.

 

That little land part up the top that will develop into a car park, will end up being connected to the main airport landscape.

If you look at the 3rd big building (main terminal) on the right of the airport, that road next to it is where they will be connected.

 

I hope you like what it's become so far, I'll post a new update every time it's been worked on a significant amount.

I fixed up the roads on the first island and made them a bit thinner because they looked to big compared to the ones on the second island, which keep in mind is almost complete.

 

I also added a docks to the airport.
