im one of those people who are a bit uncomfortable when real states and towns are mentioned in GTA. Besides I dont think they'll go with Florida as the name bc it's just not how they do locations

There's also many times in Vice City where they mention florida on the radio by name, especially when talking about the hurricane, also Tommy, when crashing into another car sometimes says "Dumb, florida, moron..."

It's okay to invent a name for Florida. Maybe they just gave this original name because they never thinked about this, but following Rockstar's logic there is no problem about it.

 

I'm even more comfortable with the idea of a new name for Florida instead of thinking about mixing the names of the RDR states with the GTA names on representations of USA in the GTA Universe. I think it's 2 distinctives ecosystems with 2 ways to show and play with the America.

 

They even never mentioned anything about Liberty City in RDR. They clearly talk about New York City for many times in RDR2.

Question, Is there a site I can use that allows picture files over 20.0 MB? I'm getting tired of cutting the map into pieces to allow people to see it. That and I can no longer use regular paint to resize the section to fit in the frames. I'm still new to the digital map making stuff, so please bare with me. If only we could just post here directly, if it is possible someone please show me in video form and also what are the file size limits? The image in question is 41.2 MBs, I could trim it a bit but that's all I can do.

they Limited it to 20MBs which means I have to slice it in half and trim it.

Really? Last time i uploaded a 60mb map overthere fine, must have been a really recent update.
Try to use a image format that compacts the images more, i dunno.

Save as a .jpg, from the looks of things you're using .png which generates far larger file sizes.

This is what i have so far of west carson state. I am putting a desert in east carson state and putting Alberton (albuquerque NM) and Armstrong (phoenix AZ). i currently have san juan and elberto outlined. I didnt think id make a whole state. I might also add a parody of sacromento and fresno. And if you didnt relize already, This is north California

And easton city is supposed to be oakland

Simple, upload your map to Imgur or a similar website, and then you copy it's Forum Code Link (The one in the Picture), over here on the forum.

This is the first map that I publish, it is called Cross islands and I did not name the cities because I am very bad at naming maps and as you can see, the cities have some resemblance to a real one but nothing to see.

I was also inspired by that map. I made an atlas of maps from various games and real life Miami maps to make this one. It was kind of a zoomed in version of that "leaked" map of the next GTA game, this being only the Vice City portion of it.

Coral City is just a neighourhood I created for my version of Vice City (the map I made, based off of Miami, Florida). I chose Coral City because in the original 2D era Vice City, there was a neighbourhood with this name. Miramire (from Miramire Wetlands on my map) was another neighbourhood in the 2D era.

Cross Islands v2020.12.8

what's new about that version is that it adds a new city with a new airport, an industrial seaside town, removes a part of the snow biome, completes an unfinished highway and adds more roads

Keep working on it and can you draw the city's district/neighbourhood map and tell its story, gangs and citizens that inhabit it and all that stuff afterwards?
