I'm a very creative person, and writing is perhaps my strongest point, though i have let that skill slide a lot lately I remember something Victor Wooten said about birds and their songs - "where does that come from? Where do they learn that? Is there a bird school?" - it comes from within, therefore anyone has the ability to do anything and i think creative people are more inclined to be better skilled at other creative things. Writing, poetry, music, art etc. (check out the link in my sig if you wanna check out my poetry - unfortunately not much of Thames is up yet and so far (half the reason it's taking so long) im not too happy with the quality, partly due to the "concept" style) I'm really proud of City of Lies. It's become everything i wanted it to be. The chapters led on well i think, the characters feel real to me, and I'm happy with it (a few errors aside of course) The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. Nah not yet (fingers crossed) I've had 2 works published in "compilation" books though while i was at school. One of them is one of the poems i got up here, the other a short story (which tbh was sh*t). I hope to someday get a novel published though.... The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. I didnt know there had been any new replies. Honestly, it's still in the brainstorming and ideas stage. I have about half a chapter written - which was done spur of the moment. Jacob would work for his Hillside Posse buddies and Badman in the beggining. While doing that he tries to get help from some of his buddies to assault the Lost MC (Who have finally built their clubhouse back up). The first chapter is done but it's an intro. The story will span from there. It's NOT a sequel of COL. I'm calling it an 'alteruel' as it takes place at the same time as COL but this time follows the REVENGE endin of IV. The coin is flipped. THAMES remains my priority; I need to get it done, and the recent setback has not helped. I'll still work on COL2 intermittently but TC is the focus. Unfortunately I can't say 'it'll be done by xxx' I can suggest to follow THAMES and that'll give an indication as to how close col2 is The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
