Just came from a freemode in which there was a hacker with nickname livescrewsyou and had an indestructable buzzard and godmode, spawnkilling everyone.

oh my gosh!!!! thank god you lived to tell the tale. you know what, there is something wrong with your games. i tried to join my friends game who has a vanilla game, and i couldnt, even with just graphics mods. so either there is a new exploit to allow people to bypass security, or your computers have something in them making the servers think you have mods. now as a mod and trainer user myself i find it annoying when an immature person comes in creating havok and suck, but i find it more annoying when some whiny person posts on these boards about hackers and modders. first off there are no "hackers" in this game, a real hacker wouldnt waste his time. second there is a solution to all this that you and your get along gang can do: CREATE A PRIVATE MATCH AND ONLY LET THOSE YOU INVITE JOIN!!! you waste so much energy bitching about this you are blind to the most simple solution that will not hinder your gameplay, only enhance it, and all your little friends can play with you. oh wait that wont work, then you would have nothing to whine about or post on a message board, and thats much more important.

If you have nothing nice to say than dont say anything at all. And stop acusing people of modifying games when u in reality have no idea.

 

P.S. i reported you for your behavior. I dont care if you have 100 million years of experince with computers and all, it doesnt mean you can just randomly insult people.

youre right though, in reality i dont know what you have on your system, from your gay kiddie porn, to your my little pony shots. but i know one thing, based on an educated gues that some others have made too, that if you see people using mods, you must have them too (or at least something on your pc setting off the mod detector for this game) if you dont like what people say, dont open yourself up in a thread like this. plenty of people say mean things to me, i shrug it off.... sticks and stones and oh yeah, being an adult. you came here looking for help, we are offering one of the most logical possibilities, if you dont like it, then email R* or GFWL directly and stop wasting our time.

When you sit and think you know what is on our systems, accuse us of having porn or whatever else, yes I do classify you as a useless troll. My game has 0 mods in it. The trainers should not work online no matter what kind of mods you have. That's just asking for trouble. Also, if you wish to make valid points maybe you should try doing it without being a complete asshole once in awhile.

and to DJ...the mods shouldnt be allowed? hmm seems the people that own the servers think differently. they modified the servers to let us in without the need to bypass security systems. they realize our creativity opens new possibilities. GTA IV wouldnt have multiplayer if it werent for modders making san andreas into a multiplayer game. i dont pretend to know whats on your system or what hardware you have.

I didn't mean mods, I meant trainers such as the god mode, and all that mess.

the trainers are technically a mod being as they are installed into the game directly (hence why it is called a native trainer, as if the game was made to work that way), unlike other trainers you run seperately from the game (and intercept and modify the data). anything installed into the game folders in one way or another is a mod. but i know what your getting at. i have emailed rockstar to make sure there isnt a server problem (so ill get an answer next year), and im trying to find out if there is a mod or hack to allow modders into unmodded servers. though people doing that are assholes, they can play with other people online, why do they need to find a way to ruin others experiences and the ability to play the way they want to. i agree with both sides on this, modders should have online ablities and people that prefer no mods should be able to play in peace.

Sadly enough I can confirm the OP's findings. I've got the

EFLC disc version, no mods/trainers/scripthook and last night

joined a TBOGT freemode game and there it was, a skylift:

It was the same player the OP named, Mistersik from Poland and the

host was terrorkiwi123.

 

So, the new security separation thing is either cracked or flawed.

Maybe other players see their name in the screenshot and can confirm

they use mods or have a clean install.

 

And there's always the option only the EFLC disc version mp is

cracked and the DLC version isn't.

Besides, you're missing the point here. The new security separation is a good thing,

even the mod community agrees on that. And afaik it still works in GTA IV + DLC.

 

But if the OP says he saw a heli spawner in the EFLC disc version you all accuse him

of modding instead of checking his story like I did. In fact, some of you had no

trouble at all burning the OP with only 1 argument: how solid the new protection is.

 

Well, it isn't. At least 1 guy has broke it, or it's glitched of flawed or whatever.

On top of that, you all seem to forget the new patch doesn't allow mods. All it does

is separating the mods from the vanilla players. But hey, R* doesn't use the term

the whole point is, no matter what security measures anyone puts in, someone will circumvent those said security measures. so you can whine and complain all you want, but you know in this game, or any other game or online website, database or anything for that matter with security, someone will rise to the challenge to circumvent it. but the problem is some of you are honestly too stupid to realise this is human nature, someone will break security, someone will whine about it. again the only surefire solution is what has been said, a private match. that is the only thing that will work. but again you whiners are too stupid and hardheaded to realise this. and unitl you realise the nature of the beast, said beast will always eat you.

lol, i find the facepalm one entertaining . Oh and if you have checked Viometrix's member title you would have seen it says mildly aggravating, which should be a warning to any person . Now on-topic, lol, my solution to this is fight fire with fire, and get yourself a trainer, or you continue getting gruesomely murdered by modders. Or you could always try the console version . Oh and gtastyles can you please resize your image, the pic is unnessesarily big, especially for someone who is using a small screen(17inch screen for my laptop compared to the 20inch monitor for my desktop).
