[WIP]TBOGT Vehicle Fix

Hi!

I make a mod, which fix the crappy bug with lights. With my modification lights are correct.

 

Fixed vehicles are:

Avan, Buffalo, Police Buffalo, Schafters, Bati Custom, Freeway, Cavalcade, Double T, Dukes, Faggio, Futo, Hakuchou, Hellfury, Manana, NRG 900, Hexer, PCJ 600, Stallion, Tampa, Zombie, Sanchez.

Possible to use original gta IV files in EFLC?

So tweaked visualSettings.dat fixes the problem right?

Is it a removed part in TboGT?

 

car.headlight.emissive.on 10.00

car.headlight.emissive.off 0.05

Okay, Avan and two Schafter's are finished, they will be released tomorrow. Now I work on Buffalo.

Nice, but does this replace .wft and .wtd files in vehicles.img? Cuz if yes, then f*ck no, I ain't downloading since, every1 in multiplayer will crash. confused.gif

thanks a lot for the fixes. it was the first thing i noticed on the game when i played it. I also noticed that the height of camera changed on the shafter after replacing the texture file, which seemed to me very odd since all camera is done thru vehicleoff file. would it be possible if you can check this. or if you have the original files can u post them again? so that i can check my self. i forgot to back the files up.

I'm kind of expecting R* Toronto to fix this eventually, but this mod should do for those who want that little bit of extra detailing sooner.

 

That glitch still bugs me though. Makes the game look unfinished.

Well did you test it online? You know like go online, play with your friends for more than an hour and see if it crashes. Anyway since it was done with Zmodeler, there's no way I'm downloading it cuz 99% it will crash others and the camera is f*cked confused.gif

I hope R* will fix it some day...

Thank you for this mod. icon14.gif I hope that R* will fix this in new a patch for EFLC, but because we don't have an ETA on that , it is a great thing to have your mod. BTW, did you fix the lights like chasez said in this topic? lights bug discussion

It's pretty easy, you just have to move all the light dummies(and everything under that dummy) under chassis_L2 in hierarchy. it's the same when you leave glass above the light in hierarchy you won't be able to see the light unless you move the glass under the light. Check it out by moving windscreen up and down in hierarchy. You'll see that when the windscreen will be on top you won't be able to see through it but if it's moved to the end you will see everything.

ok i find how to fix them all in zm2.. (quite easy wink.gif ) but seems that serranos, f620 and bullet have headlights disappearing behind hl glass.. tried to fix it detaching glass, then attaching to "bodyshell "; in zm2 hl are visible in game they disappear.. any idea?

edit: ok done. if anybody need it: after detaching, i made a copy of hl glass material (with proper shader) and assigned it to hl glass covers.

what's with the schafter? do the reverse lights light up when they should?
