Accountclosed
I don't get it. I simply don't notice it, whatever this "glitch" you're hinting at exactly specifies. BTW, do you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? Because that's what your posts are hinting at. EDIT: You can't see the glitch in the posted video? Oh yes... I'm "obsessed" by the car looks in GTA (That's one of the greatest parts of the game to me) - But OCD? sh*t, glad I don't suffer from that. There's a lot of other stuff I could complain about in the GTA IV series, but that's problems I can live with. SammiiDoogles
I was playing BoGT earlier man, and this one street light in star junction wasn't on - I was so mad. Anyone know the email address for me to write to R* about this problem?
KaLaC
I noticed a exact problem, maybe you already knew, the lights ( including headlights, brakelights , taillights and indicators) are not fully glittered Some pics would be helped.. Tony's Schafter (EFLC Vehicle) and Sultan ( Original IV Vehcile) are as an example. Tony's Schafter(Notice the rear lights of the cars) As the screenshot is taken at night, the taillight should be glittered in case! Sultan( Taillight glittered) The problem is not caused by textures , maybe something in the models is messed up! I hope Rockstar could fix the problem as soon as possible, XBOX360 Version dont have above problem! This vid was from XBOX360 Version TBoGT, those lights on Buffalo and BulletGt worked well! That's why I considered it was just an modelling error occured in PC Verion Edited April 21, 2010 by KaLaC

Accountclosed
Since when is any game absolute pixel perfection? It's an unrealistic expectation. You see every other vehicle has normal working lights. And this glitch is one hell of a quick task to solve for the Rockstar development team (3rd party modders could fix this) As I wrote before: "There's a lot of other stuff I could complain about in the GTA IV series, but that's problems I can live with." I see a lot of pixel errors in the GTA IV series (Original + BoGT) - But that could be caused by a lot of things... GFX driver, other software, hardware... you name it. oasked
I also get the same problem, its a texture issue with ALL of the new BOGT cars & bikes. Not sure how you can fix it, but I doubt it will ever be fixed in a patch - as it is a problem with the models. It is only a minor issue, but it is an issue nonetheless - you guys don't have to be d*cks about it. I might have a play with Zmodeler tonight, don't suppose I'll get very far though. For reference, the lights work in TLAD (PC version) and every version of BOGT, apart from the PC version. This screenshot shows the issue: Also discussed here. @ chasez Please could you at least could you post what you've done so far? Looks like you've already fixed the Schafter, would be a great starting point for someone else to continue the work. oasked
Right, had a quick go and got all the software required from the ASI files to SDFA dump to SPARK IV 0.65 - then I realised that I needed to register ($60) my version of Zmodeler to import cars. Damn! As you can see, I haven't done any GTA modding since Vice City came out. Sorry guys, I failed.

Looks like you've already fixed the Schafter, would be a great starting point for someone else to continue the work. It's not a texture probem. It's pretty easy, you just have to move all the light dummies(and everything under that dummy) under chassis_L2 in hierarchy. it's the same when you leave glass above the light in hierarchy you won't be able to see the light unless you move the glass under the light. Check it out by moving windscreen up and down in hierarchy. You'll see that when the windscreen will be on top you won't be able to see through it but if it's moved to the end you will see everything. yogeshking
Tried the game for the first time last night and it made a bad impression by a single thing: The first car you get to drive in has very and I say VERY bad textures on the headlights + tail lights + No backing up lights (white one's, when you reverse the car). And when you look around and see the old cars from the original GTA IV, you see every detail on those cars are PERFECT. I'm glad I borrowed the game and it pisses me off and makes me NOT wanna buy the game, when every other nice detail of the game is almost perfect. Rockstar... FIX TEXTURE PROBLEMS ON CARS that are created by YOU, and make them look PERFECT, and not like a modded car from the 3rd parties. Example of the glitch: Playing on the PC. My specs: - Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 - Core i7-920 4x2.66GHz (Overclocked to 3.00GHz) - 6GB Kingston DDR3-1333 TripleChannel RAM - 1 x 750 GB S-ATAII 3Gb/s Fluid Silent (7200rpm) - 2 x GTX260 (Core216) 896MB DDR3 (SLI) - Windows 7 64x So no *ssh0le is gonna reply with a "Your pc is not good enough" or anything like it. The original GTA IV works perfect - Including BOGT, but the textures are f*cking bad on that single car. EDIT: The cars that are affected by the "light" glitch is the SCHAFTER + DUKES + HELLFURY + STALLION + BUFFALO + PCJ600 + SERRANO + FUTO in BOGT TURN OFF SLI

oasked
Status update guys; no Zmodeler 2.2.4 license here and I can't afford $60 for it. (2 x what I paid for the game!) gummybeardeath
So your friend is the only one with this incredibly minor glitch on one of the hundred or so vehicles in the game. And because of that you aren't going to buy it. This game is more focused on shooting and things besides cars, if you want extremely life-like car textures go play some other game. And don't double post. Obviously he is NOT the only one with this glitch: Here's another proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y1iqIVFayg Fast forward to 2:13 in the video, and you'll see the same glitch. Looks stunning compared to the original gta 4. They look much better on the new tbogt cars.
