my brother next halloween is dressing up as a Warrior from the movie (idk which one) and his girlfriend is gonna be a Baseball Fury

 

i loved the Warriors game. make the map bigger and make it to where you can rob stores and add the new graphics and physics and i would be in love

I loved The Warriors on the PlayStation 2 and to see it on the RAGE Engine would be great.

One thing that was kind of a bummer in The warriors is that you couldn't explore all the other areas you went to during the storyline. You were limited to just the the Cony island area although that was still fun. Remember how other gangs would randomly come and attack your turf, well what if you could do the same to them? Head up to the Bronx and make a surprise attack on the Orphans, or how about Manhattan for a rumble with the Baseball furies. Also, while you're at these rival areas you could break into stores/ cause a riot etc.

 

One thing the game had was a fantastic fighting system! Light years ahead of any Gta game. This would remain the same, with tweaks of course.

I remember a couple of times stumbling across certain gangs just sat around listening to the radio and jumping them all. At the end of the brawl you'd have the Warriors stood around battered and blooded with the other gang crawling around and groaning on the floor. All the while these songs (and the others in the game) would still be playing on the radio in the background. One of them epic gaming moments.

XD I played this game and watched the movie so much.

 

Back when I was little, I used to pretend I was Cleon and started my own gang.

Got excluded from school for fighting but meh, I had fun.

 

Then the game came out and I was addicted

 

And the soundtrack is nothing short of 'the sh*t'.

One of the best films and game adaptations of a game I've ever seen/played. Wait, it is the best game adaptation of a film.

It really captured the dark eery feel of the film. I loved seeing the old ferris wheel in the title screen and the sillouette of the train or just it's lights going along the track.

Then of course the amazing fighting. I mean, grabbing someone and smahing their head into a wall was the f*cking business. Then you take drugs to heal yourself buy sniffing them. Also, throwing bricks and hiding in dark spots to get the cops attention then smashing a brick or bottle off their head. Robbing car stereos for cash and beating c*nts to a pulp, hahahahahahha.

Must admit though, I got the game before seeing the film. It was crazy seeing the irl scenes of the in-game cutscenes heheee.

 

Everything about it is brilliant, hell, I purchased the official movie soundtrack on CD. Who else loved the 4th mission? Rioting as Vermin? I replayed that mission to death, even one time managed to kill every one of the Furies who chase you toward the end.

Haha, online battles would be amazing. Could have Free-for-All, Team Brawl, King of the Hill, a conquest type game where you have to be the first gang to spray all the walls over a map, Capture the Flag, a survival type game where you and yer mates have to survive waves of enemies, a looting game where your gang has to rob the most stuff...

 

Seriously, the posssibilities for games would be endless. And imagine fully customising yer fighter in whatever gear you want with whatever fighting moves you want. Forming yer own gangs and such.

 

Sadly, I don't think it will ever get made. How could R* evolve the story any more than they did with the original?

the fighting moves were the ish too i loved ajax and snow's combo's and moves and if we were to play as another gang rather than the warriors in campaign like the boppers or furies and make your own massive brawls online

so basicly GTA in the late 70's early 80's but with less guns and more ass kickings
