Ron Taboga
I would only change the CPU to a fast Core 2 Quad. Maybe Q9550? Everything else if fine. Maybe Upgrade to Windows 7, depeneding on your satisfactionary Level you have with Vista. mkey82
I wouldn't change anything for the time being. The GPU is more then OK, you have a very nice overclockable CPU. Stick with this machine for now. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/445599-updating-my-computer/#findComment-1059874974 Share on other sites
Marsmillo
Yes, I'm looking to chance to win7 64bit. Its on of the reasons way I'm also looking intro updating some hardware (I'm already busy and its a nice way to get the oem discount). But if there issend a real need for CPU or GPU update, I can always go for a new hdd to get my oem version. A secondary harddisk will always come in handy At the moment noting is overclocked, I don't know how to do safely But if someone can give me somewhere a safe guide or information I will look intro it. On2wheels
What do you guys think about an AMD 5200+ dual core vs a low end quad core for EFLC? I've ordered the quad because I Don't overclock things normally. I hope I didn't make a mistake by buying the quad but its the max my mobo can handle anyway. I think EFLC also uses 3 cores, like GTA 4! its the because of the porting from the XBOX360 Version. So a Quad is definitly better!
