IVSA_Guy
These encrypted files prevents the cheating on MP. So for this time, they do the right job. And now everyone is moaning they cant mod. No one is ever happy eh? The modding should be ONLY for SINGLE player. I imagine Rockstar is laughing their asses off by seeing this topic. No one is ever happy eh? The modding should be ONLY for SINGLE player. I imagine Rockstar is laughing their asses off by seeing this topic. I understand completely about the modders on multiplayer, and I bet they are laughing too, and so am I. It is great for people that ruin the game for others, but for people like me that do not play multiplayer at all, it is a big pain in the culo. It would be so great if Rockstar would just release a version for multiplayer, and make it impossible to mod, and then a version for modders. It would solve so many things... Mince
I know this is off topic, but I have a question about the 360 version. Can't I use a hard drive transfer cable to transfer my save game to my computer and use a hex editor to edit what I have in my parking spot? So does anyone know if that is possible on 360? Yeah, not really relating to the topic, but I thought it was better than starting a new topic since this one is talking about modding.

EduardKoeleJuck
http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=445531 modding not going to be easy as rock star is using encrypted files! Hmmm, is that just data files? How can this be fixed? @ simkas, OMG that looks brill! Can you buy the original russian shop clothes that are in 'IV or:/? It's allowed to be converted right? They will be decrypted on the release date. This was on my screen during the installation: This software requires an online Release Date Check on the first launch after installation. For this an active internet connection is required. Application and hardware identifiers are sent to the time server. If the Release Date Check passes, a decryption key is received from the server and the application files and folders are decrypted and replaced. Please click on 'Accept' if you want to continue or click 'Cancel' to abort this process.

Even the anim, model, texture, sound and power of it?
Braindawg
oh cool!! I thought that the xbox 360 textures were all 512x512 and were half resolution, so buying the pc game would enhance better graphics, but they are still 512x512 , oh well! I'm pretty sure the 360 textures are 256x256. The PC version of GTAIV also had 512x512 size textures at max, so the PC version does have better textures than the 360 one. on the PC, Johnnys jacket textures are 1024x1024. and yes there are 2 not one theire the same though. So basically this means that we have to until everyone else has the game avaliable on their own specific release date right...?
Gta Guy 108
I tried putting on the "Fight Club Shirt" that Luis wears for Niko, ha ha take a look! Reminds me of the hunchback of notre dame.
Tivo222
I tried putting on the "Fight Club Shirt" that Luis wears for Niko, ha ha take a look! Reminds me of the hunchback of notre dame. Out there among the millers and the weavers and their wives. Through the roofs and gables I can see them. Every day they shout and scold and go about their lives, heedless of the gift it is to be them. If I was in their skin, I'd treasure every instant out there, strolling by the Seine, taste a morning out there, like ordinary men, who freely walk about there. Just one day, and then I swear I'll be content with my share. Won't resent, won't despair, old and bent, I won't care, I'll have spent one day out there!
