Due to leele being annoying and not leaving me alone i will post why..

 

He shouldn't be in as i have played with him in an organized event before where he could not follow simple rules. He then carried it on by arguing with me and then sending me an aggressive message over XBL after a game he got kicked from with me and kinko in it.

 

Simple.

Sorry but thats bullsh*t, it was a free mode, the only organised event i've been in was a 16 vs LCPD and it was a lag fest so no-one took it seriously and people were leaving mid game. Whatever this agressive message was, i'm sorry but I can recall Kinko and yourself spawn killing me in a random free mode which was probably why it was sent.

 

Anyway, I can follow whatever rules you give me and i'll be respectful.

The man makes an excellent point, Ray. Look at me. Since I've calmed down, I'm having LOTS more fun just socializing and playing the game as it was intended. And not hating the world, making enemies left, right and centre and losing my temper every 2 seconds. I've done nothing but blacken my own name.

 

Personally, I'm out to earn the respect. God knows, I don't deserve it on a plate after the way I've acted the past year. You should be trying to earn it too. The attitude has got neither of us anywhere. Speaking of todays event, I've not had a very good nights sleep so I'm thinking of just keeping it simple today. A bit of Border Patrol and Zombie Hunting, and maybe even some Manhunt if the turn out is good. I have an idea brewing for a new game, but I'm not quite sure what type of game yet. Should have something new to play by next week!

 

So today's agenda:

 

Two games of Border Patrol.

Two or three games of Zombie Hunting.

One game of Manhunt.

Nope. We'll hopefully have some newcomers joining today, so I want to introduce them to the event in style. I think those three games provide a good enough contrast and variety. Should be interesting.

 

Besides, you were telling me you were opposed to the idea of Protect the VIP yesterday? You said you weren't too keen on the game. Make your mind up!

I'd like to play some VIP. It doesn't have to be today but it'd be cool if we could some time. I actually made an event called V.I.P a few months back but I didn't organise it because i'm a lethargic pothead and most of the people interested were american. I have nothing against americans but I didn't think they would want play before 7pm so I didn't bother.

 

Changing the location would make it better, here's my post from a few months ago - V.I.P

Alright, change of plan people. Sweaty, you'll be happy to hear that I've decided to play a game or two of Protect the VIP in a brand spanking new location. It should hopefully add a new dimension to the game mode. It won't be held in an enclosed location this time, but instead, will be held in the shipping yard at the far southern side of the airport. Plenty of hiding spots and plenty of room to maneuver. Should be interesting.

 

We're also going to try out one of Nitty's ideas. I THINK he called it "Ground/Car." Basically, two teams. One team in cars, the other team on foot. Standard weapons. Same objective as as Air/Ground. Simple. Should be fun!

Hahaha no, i left because i wanted to because i was actually bored.. I wanted to play a different game, everything was going fine until you said yes because you 3 are using your turbos.

 

To which i responded to with well if you are going to accuse me i shall turn it on so that when you are accusing me you actually have it correct.

I have to admit my turbo was ON !! I honestly hadn't noticed until I killed LeeLee with an M4, as I had been using the sniper before, and wasn't really paying attention to my pad as I was trying to juggle playing with you guys and looking after my daughter.

As a rule I will no longer be joining any events whilst trying to babysit, It just don't work as most games require a headset and mostly need me to be there and not drifting in and out of the games as I was.

Right, I know I'm supposed to be mellowing out these days, but I have to comment on today's shenanigans. First and foremost, LeRay, you're my friend, but you're kicked from the event. It's for everybodies best interests if you just don't play anymore. Now let me explain why....

 

Since day one, you have taken it upon yourself to rebel, break the rules & disrupt the game for everybody else whenever you got the chance. The first few weeks didn't bother me all that much, but I've just had enough of you ruining my event. For some unknown reason you seem to lack any sense of sportsmanship and have NEVER, for as long as I have played GTA with you, had the decency to play fair. Everybody knows it. You can't deny it.

 

The slightest thing goes wrong for you and the game descends into chaos. Whenever your score is sucky, the turbo's on. Somebody does something you dislike then that's it, the turbo's on! I absolutely refuse to allow myself to just sit back and take this sh*t for any longer. This is my event and as a friend you should respect that fact and do your best to just keep your cool and play by the rules no matter what happens! You don't so you're out, man. And that's that. It's honestly for the greater good of the event.

 

Today, some things went on that you deemed "annoying" and so chose to rebel in retaliation. FYI, I allowed Nitty to use grenades during Protect the VIP & I allowed Jam & Kinko to snipe at you JUST ONCE during Car/Ground due to the constant problem of you using your turbo. The first game started the event off well (obviously while you were on the winning team). The reason you won, however, was because you failed to play the game properly. All your entire team did was snipe from outside the designated area and then move in and pick off the scraps. I didn't fancy having an arguement with you so I stayed quiet. Come game two, we had all decided to return the favour and not show you lot the sportsmanship that you failed to show us so I ALLOWED Nitty to use grenades (this proved to be a delightful decision on my part).

 

So, grenades were now in play so Nitty used a grenade on you and killed you. I subsequently received an angry phone call from yourself where you had taken it upon yourself to explain my own game rules to me (thanks!). In a fit of rage you hung up on me before I could explain that I'd implemented grenades into the game. Once again, I wasn't in the mood for a fight so I left you be. Now, of course, LeRay being LeRay, you turned your turbo on (surprise surprise!). We were all in high spirits (admitedly, because we'd managed to annoy you...) so we just took it in our stride.

 

Again, Car/Ground started off well while you were on the winning team. We lost and we took our defeat graciously. Come the second game, once again, you decided to play unfairly and gave yourself an advantage and kind of defeat the whole object of the game. You had perched yourself somewhere we were unable to get you and had started turboing our vehicles. Jam being Jam, asked me if he was able to relatliate so I gave him permission to. You being you, you couldn't just leave it be and begin playing fairly and had to take it that one step further. The game subsequently descended into chaos and that was that. One more week to add to your tally of disrupted events. Thank you and well done.

 

I wasn't taking anybodies side. I've just had enough of my event being ruined. Nitty & Jam broke no rules. I simply bent them. You have to understand, I've just had enough. You've driven me to this.

 

Regarding Guts N Gears. After ruining my event, you decided you got "bored" of Alien's game and decided to start disrupting that too. Come GnG, me & Jam had got bored of your shenanigans and began bashing your car (which, correct me if I'm wrong, is the whole concept of the game?) and you began complaining. Like I said, LeRay. You reap what you soe. You don't want people disrupting a game while you're having fun then show everybody else the courtesy you'd like to be shown and return the favour. You clearly can't hack it, made evident by the constant bitching and crying, so it may be best you start behaving yourself, eh? Even Swooner noted that you brought it on yourself. It's time for some changes, Ray.

 

You have to stop thinking your "lord of the manor". This imaginary heirarchy we've got going on doesn't actually translate onto the 360. When it's game time, you're just another player. You have to remember that. You're nobody important.

Right, now regarding the aforementioned area for Protect the VIP. I'll be enforcing a "no sniper" rule from now on to encourage combat in the actual docking area. Due to this location being a large, outdoor area, as opposed to the usual enclosed indoor spaces we use, I'm also implementing grenades into the arsenal. Still no rockets though!

 

I also feel I MUST point out our excellent victory during Protect the VIP! We formulated an awesome plan to take out Swooner (the VIP) with the grenades and it worked a treat. I cooked that baby, ran to his hiding spot, got creamed by LeRay's SMG and BOOM! Bye-bye Swooner!

I actually thought LeRay played pretty well tonight (turbo/ no turbo aside). He tried to play the game correctly for VIP (he even tried to keep our team within the boundaries) & I agree to what he said in lobby that if there was a problem with players breaking rules (standing on the kiosk) it would have been better to call us rather than break rules in retaliation. That just ended up confusing the rest of us. Before Kinko bailed, I also thought LeRay kept "reasonably cool" while he sat in the lobby with 3 kicks sitting on him. I've seen LeRay get real bratty in the past and I actually thought he was getting some sh*t he maybe didn't deserve. Still, it's your event Sir Liam. If you feel he's been warned enough, that's your call to make.

 

All in all I had tons of fun today. It's too bad when anyone gets worked up and bent out of shape over these mini games of ours. I think it would do us all some good to relax a little and trust in each other. Victories are not going down in eternal scoreboards. We had some pretty close matches and would like to give the Car vs. Ground game another go sometime. I also think we really need to have a few "SHUT THE f*ck UP!" moments so our host Leelee has some silence to go over the rules and info. Maybe then we can communicate more clearly and avoid any "baby butt hurting" in the future.

Well in my defense, my turbo was never on for any of these game in the past weeks.

 

Last night was the first time it was on, I used it once against nitty in protect the V.I.P due to me believing there was a no grenade rule, i then proceed to look up the rules and discovered that there was no said rule so i left it be, with me being wrong. Then in Car/Ground, booze jumped up the kiosk and i thought, humm looks like a good spot, not thinking about if it was aloud, to which JAM decided to snipe, he then continued when we was all of the kiosk to which i killed him with my turbo, then whilst we was trying to get back into the game, all we kept hearing was sniper shot's, oh look, kinko was now sniping, so i killed him, then JAM and then it just kept changing. I didn't have my turbo on until JAM decided to snip, as you clearly didn't notice, if i had it on i would have gotten more kills than i did, there is such thing as lag, and when the game has got peds and traffic on high there will be lag. But i never had it on before JAM sniped and i swear on my girlfriend that i didn't.

 

Now defense over.

 

I understand that order needs to be, after all i do host 16 v LCPD on a weekly basis, so i know how things need to go.

 

So i am not too fuzzed about the decision, what is, is and what was, was. Can't change the past.

I'll just say, it WAS explained to you before we started Car/Ground that you can't stand on any rooftops or positions that cars cant reach you, and correct me if im wrong, Kiosks have roofs, and last time I check cars dont fly. You cheated, we retaliated, and as soon as I shot you off the Kiosk I stopped sniping, but then a Leray turned his turbo on and a few of you got back on the Kiosk, so we carried on retaliating. You would have done exactly the same thing Leray. I dont think anyone accused Leray of using his turbo before I sniped, but then again I only scan most posts. But im sure Leray only used it when I sniped, but knowing Leray he could have had it on most of the game.

An eye for an eye makes the event go blind...

Isn't there another way to tell someone, "Hey, you can't stand on a kiosk, or a burnt out vehicle or behind a barrier, where you can't get run over?" than by sniping them?

Time and time again, it is proven that retaliating makes these things decent into chaos and ultimately destroys it. When are we gonna realize that?
