kristjankalev
What is wrong with my IV savegame? I want to install 100% Savegame for IV! But when I install it to the right folder, it doesnt show the new savedgame in-game! Just for saying, when I save my game in the game, it seems I cant find it (even with Wndows Vista search option) I install the savegame to C:/Users/My user/Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/savegames/ (I made savegme flder myself) How on earth doesnt my laptop show MY SAVED GAME when I have saved it? kristjankalev
I did! That didnt help! The problem is, I go to Appdata/ then Rockstar Games then GTA IV and then savegames - the folder which i created myself THERE ARE NO SAVEGAMES!!! though I have saved games in my game! Does my game savegames only for itself?
mkey82
You created a folder in My Documents previously, not in AppData You may need to "view hidden files and folder". If you are backing up your save game files because of a format it is important that you copy everything in the savegames folder to another hard drive. kristjankalev
Well........now I found the savegame folder and replaced my old savegame with the new - 100% one! But now when I start the game, game says "Load Failed - Check your Harddrive"! I use XLIVELESS too! How to solve this problem?
mkey82
You will solve your problems by reading, reading stuff like the included readme.txt file you can in the xliveless archive. Savegame you downloaded go into the savegame folder in my documents directory while using xliveless. Original savegames are saved in savegames folder in app data directoy without xliveless. Xliveless xlive.dll goes int the game install dir.
kristjankalev
I have saved games with XLiveless and there are NO savegames in My Documents / Rockstar Games / GTA IV folder! There i created savegames folder as you can see by reading few replys back! PS: Also saying that whenever I start using Xliveless, I get a folder user_100100010000 (sumthng like that) in AppData/Local/Rockstar Gmes/GTA IV/Savegames/ folder! mkey82
You are doing something wrong. * did you place xlive.dll in the proper directory? * did you place the savegame in the proper directory? Are you sure you're looking in the proper "my documents" folder? How many users profiles do you have on that machine? Did you change your Windows logon user name? mkey82
Have you renamed your windows logon user name? Have you moved the my documents folder? Try doing a system wide search for this file "SGTA400" or "SGTA4".
