That_Guy28
OK, I have been having a drunken screen problem today and I figured out what was causing it. I had the EA download manager open. All I had to do was activate the ol' ctrl+alt+del command and terminate all processes running that were made by EA. Why does it do this? Does R* not want us to have The Sims 3 installed on our computer or is this just EA tampering with the programming because thier game isn't as good as GTA IV? ikt
No, EA Download Manager probably is acting like a program that fakes the sh*t that causes pirating, thus SecuRom detects that. Well, at least some people now know why their legal games are registered as pirated.
FireItUp
I've played GTA IV lots of times with EADM open and have never had the drunk cam issue. EDIT: I should say my EADM was installed via NFS Shift but I'm sure it's the same one you've got with the Sims. viometrix
i have the sims 3, burnout paradise, mass effect 1 & 2 that run with eadm, never got a drunk cam. but all my games and their little add ons like steam, eadm, rsgsc, gfwl etc etc are installed on a dedicated gaming drive. though im positive it doesnt make a difference, and i doubt eadm has an effect on your game, but i could be wrong. That_Guy28
All I have to do is terminate the EADM process and it works fine. I am using an asi trainer just so you know but I don't think it makes a difference. If I have a computer speed booster running I don't get the drunk cam while running EADM. I don't ever use my speed booster program though because it doesn't make it run faster at all. Also, I tried to play Sims 3 with the RGSC running today and it said that it couldn't tell if the game disc was the original one or not. I had the game disc in there so I just quit RGSC and it worked. How do I keep GTA IV and Sims 3 from trying to kill eachother?
