Dnero
Okay, so when it comes to DLC, what do you want for the next GTA? I'm sure that some of you want episodes just like TLaD & BoGT, but what if it's a pack? it could be anything from vehicle packs, weapons pack, or maybe activities pack (if they include one). For example: - VEHICLES - The NeXt GTA has arrived and you people are playing it like crazy and go around explore of the (hopefully) huge map. As you progress through the story you'll notice that the vehicles in the game are not enough, and you suddenly remember that there's a billboard or an advertisement of some kind showing a non existent car, yet. That car or vehicle will be release in some sort of DLC pack later on. - WEAPONS - You'll probably need some unique and powerful weapons in the NeXt GTA, so when the protagonist enters a weapon store (AmmuNation) they will try to buy the weapons that are available. Inside that weapon store, you'll see posters of weapons that will be shipped to "insert NeXt location here" in later time. You can also (for more realistic approach) ask the dealer when will it be ready by "bribing - gets the weapons delivered to your safehouse once the DLC's installed or asking him normally - you have to get to the weapons store and buy it manually so it can be saved to your inventory (once it's installed). - ACTIVITIES - If there are activities in the game that you can do with your (story/online)friends, you'll probably get bored of what the base game have it ready since it's only a couple activities, but throughout the city there are many places like casinos/malls/bars/clubs that are still "under construction" and followed by another billboard/posters in front of it of what will be the name of the place and what will be in it. As you purchase the DLC, that place will be finished and maybe (realistic approach), the first time you go there, there will be a grand opening with people surrounding it. After you installed all the DLCs, you'll be probably wondering what will happen to the billboards/posters/other ads that advertise the DLC, well it changes to a normal ad like maybe ProLaps or Sprunk ad. Is that enough? No, other billboards will appear and advertises other things that your game doesn't have yet and it will be included in future DLCs. maxopower
I want both, like we did last time. tLaD and tBoGT was more then “just” a new story line, they brought new Cars, Guns, Music and Activities.
mrpain
Yes I would love a new DLC containing storylines, weapons, vehicles, etc. But make the weapons and vehicles available to the vanilla game. That way, we can try things we never try before
Dnero
But make the weapons and vehicles available to the vanilla game. That way, we can try things we never try before Exactly, the packs will be mounted on the base game. If there were another Episodes DLC, it could also be carried over to that episodes. Remember that news about the next GTA will be having more than 1000 pages of script? I don't think will be having more than 1 storyline, that's already big enough... The_Mario_Man
I'm personally not a fan of DLC. To me it's just an excuse to release an unfinished game, and charge for addons. Lost and the Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony are definitely worth it though, but I really think they should keep it like that if they do anything with V, instead of charging a couple of bucks for each new vehicle/weapon you want.
