PART 4 TRAILER

PART 2 AND 3 TRAILER

Part 5 and 6; named Operation: Platinum Star, are in production!!!

Information on parts 5 and 6:

Platinum Star is the name of a space weapon sattelite made by Russia. While playing the missions, you will actually see a hand-build satellite (created using various objects) that will appear in cutscenes. It will feature Area 69 to a large extent, as well as other millitary-based places.

Expect a lot of covert-ops during this two part series (I'm making it part 5 and 6), and a lot of action, as well as a great storyline.

The storyline is already established, and the first mission is underway, which is an intro mission (no gunfighting, difficulty involved) that introduces new characters as well as the storyline. Expect past characters to make returns and lots of plot twists.

These two parts will not be insanely difficult, so you won't be going WTF!!! OMFG!!! I PLAYED THROUGH THIS 15 MINUTE MISSION AND DIES!!! NOW I CAN'T BE F*UCKED PLAYING IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!! *skips to next mission*, so difficulty wise, everything is quiet stable.

When the first missions of Part 1 and 2 of Operation Platinum Star are complete, they will be released as trailers. A video trailer will also be released when both parts are finished. But both parts will be released one after the other, so once part 1 is done, I'll release it and start making part 2, if you get what I mean.

Please tell me what you think and suggest ways that I can improve, as well as features I can add.

I have been making missions with DYOM for about a year, I am by no means an expert. But I put my heart, soul and imagination into my new set of missions, the SAPD Chronicles. Four parts (LVPD, LSPD and Hunt for the Loco Syndicate Part 1 and 2) are complete, and hoping to finish it all soon.

Here is the story so far (in brief):

James Porter started off as a LVPD police officer, partnering with Gerard Watson, a veteran Police Officer. Together they manage to fight crimes and bring down a Gun Smuggling organisation led by Russian Mobster Oleg Mikhaelov. With the help of Gerard's informant, Mikhael, they manage to take down Mikhaelov and his organisation. With the job down properly and efficiently, they receive word from their chief. They have been promoted to SWAT members, and are on their way to Los Santos to fight the rising gang crime...

Apon arriving in Los Santos, James and Gerard face gang problems and riots, raids and busts. (This storyline interweaves with the GTA San Andreas storyline) These includs the raid on the Jefferson motel and facing balla and Vargos gang members when the Varrios Los Aztecas come under attack. With all their flawless victorys Captain Gilbers informs them that they are off to San Fierro, to help solve a big case for the FBI...

San Fierro is a nice place, all except for the Loco Syndicate. James, Gerard and their new FBI friend Blackmore are itching to take down the Loco Syndicate, one gang at a time. The San Fierro Rifa are the first on the list...

After stalling the Locos a while it's time to take out Torenos men. But this will not be easy. Toreno's men are professionals, not like the rabble of the Rifa. Will James and Gerard achieve the impossible and defeat Toreno and the Locos once and for all?

That’s the story so far (32 Missions) but I guarantee that more is to come; I just need some time to think of ideas...

Hi there,

It seems I have been requested to do a lot of reviews lately ^.^. Anyways, now it's your turn.

SAPD chronicles (overall):

- The Dialog/text is excellent. You have a very rich vocabulary and the instructions are clear and

precise. The most obvious text error would be the lack of apostrophes (') and some typing

mistakes but they're generally very rare.

- The presentation/cutscene is excellent. Nice viewing angle between different cutscenes.

Mission 1, Welcome to LVPD:

- The Difficulty level is easy, since this is an introductory mission. The player just have to follow Gerard.

- The length of the mission is very good for an introductory mission. It can be done around 4 minutes. That is some very long walking route you made for Gerard there.

Mission 2, Local LV Drug Dealers:

- The difficulty level is easy, the player assist Gerard to beat up some local thugs. No armed (guns) weapons fight involved.

- The length of the mission is decent. It can be done in 4 minutes. I was a little bit lost for trying to find my way out around the LVPD.

Mission 3, Just another night...:

- The difficulty level is easy, the enemies that the player and Gerard have to fight have weak shot accuracies. To compensate this, they have quite a high health (500hp) with no headshots option.

- The length of the mission is short, it can be done in 2 minutes. The player and Gerard are going to eat some donuts outside of the LVPD. There, they find armed local drug dealers. Fortunately, the player is equipped with a pistol and is determined to gun those enemies.

Mission 4, The Night Off:

- The difficulty level is very easy, the enemies don't seem to attack our protagonists. Besides, they have a hard time to get through to the Caligula casino main entrance (an unavoidable bug

perhaps?).

- The length of the mission is short, it can be done in 3 minutes. The player assist Gerard to go chilling to the casino and they got ambush against drive-by local dealers.

- Nice character model changing ( I have a hard time to tell them apart since my gta is heavily modded tounge.gif). It's good to play as another model for a refreshing change.

Mission 5, Suit up and good luck:

- The difficulty level is easy as the player has many allies to assist him to fight against armed drug dealers. Drive-by enemies seems to have a very high health (1000hp) as I ran through them a good amount of times. They same thing can be said about the police car (2500hp).

- The length of the mission is good as it can be done in 4.5 minutes. The player assist his allies to dispatch armed local drug dealers and to do some drive-by gun fighting against 4 enemies.

Mission 6, A new case:

- The difficulty level is easy as the player and his allies are fighting against many non armed local drug dealers. I noticed the 3 healthpacks but I didn't use any of them as the enemies were done quickly after they fell to the ground.

- The length of the mission is good as it can be done in 4.5 minutes. The player helps Gerard and the new guy Mikhael to beat against a large number of local drug dealers inside the bar. Mikhael invites you to his motel at the end of the mission.

Mission 7, Nyet Showdown:

- The difficulty level is easy. Enemies starts to be more aggressive but they can be defeated by keeping distance away from their shooting sight and by doing headshots. As usual, you also have allies.

- The length of the mission is good as it can be done in 4 minutes. The LVPD knows that the high ranking criminal Oleg Minkhaelovs is at the airport and the player has been tasked to take him and his

goons out. They succeed!!! (the good guys always win tounge.gif)

Mission 8, Are You Coming Too...:

- The difficulty level is very easy as it is a heavily dialog driven mission. No fights involved here.

- The length of the mission is very short, as it can be done in one minute. The player drives Gerard on his LVPD car and the latter ask the player to see him in Los Santos. The player agrees.

Overall, your missions are very good icon14.gif . Like I mentioned in the introduction, your text seems to lack apostrophes ('). The American keyboard layout that I have is done by pressing "SHIFT+8", though I'm not too sure about the European keyboard layout one. The storyline is excellent as it reflects the real life of a police officer, the length could be better by adding more contents, the presentation is flawless, and the difficulty level, while easy in general, is quite user-friendly overall.

Keep up the good work, I want to see what happens in Part 2 biggrin.gif .

Alright, SAPD chronicles part2 (LSPD)...

Overall:

- Writing: It's very good. I see some improvements there comparing to part 1.

- Presentation: Excellent! Good camera angles with a strong story and comprehensive objectives.

Welcome to LSPD:

- Length: Good, as it took me 5 minutes to beat it. I found it funny that the target pratice are live actors.

- Difficulty: Easy, you doing target pratice. It's almost impossible to die except falling on the rooftop.

- Variety: Good. The targets are quite the same but it's great to try many differents weapons.

If the Price is Riot:

- Length: Good, as it took me 5 minutes to beat it. The mission consists of beating and killing some rioters.

- Difficulty: Easy, the player has his crew for fistfighting and the enemies inside the store has weak accuracy.

- Variety: Very Good, Enemies consists of Vagos, Aztecas and the target pratice guy. Weapon variety is ok.

- BUG: My GTA is acting weird when I tried to enter the store. I found also a cutscene bug inside the store.

Ride By:

- Length: Great, it's starting to get extensive as it took me 6 minutes. It consists of killing ballas and mobs.

- Difficulty: High medium, it found the enemy drive-by part quite challenging because the player is on a bike.

- Variety: Very good, I have to fight the ballas and some drug dealers. Good amount of guns to try.

Reuniting the Families:

- Length: Great, as it took me 6 minutes to beat it. Nice LSPD arc of a mission of the same name tounge.gif. oh yeah, blowing up an helicopter with a rocket laucher in a cutscene was an insane stuff (well, I did it before).

- Difficulty: Easy, the enemies have a weak accuracy.

- Variety: Good, since it was an alternate arc of the same mission it was expected with that kind of variety.

Like Grove Like Azteca:

- Length: Great, as it took me 6 minutes. The player and Gerard assist the Aztecas to fight their ennemies.

- Difficulty: Medium, the enemies have a high accuracy, but the number of allies make the mission far doable.

- Variety: Impressive, it's the cop duo, the Aztecas and some locals against the Ballas and Vagos combined.

Yay for dealers:

- Length: Splendid, as it took me 7 minutes. The player have to fight 3 waves of enemies in El Corona.

- Difficulty: High medium, the first wave is focused on stealth killing. No healthpacks makes the challenge.

- Variety: Impressive, the enemies are the drug dealers, the Ballas and the Vagos. Good variation of weapons.

Scum and Crossbones:

- Length: Splendid, as it took me 7 minutes. The cop duo ambush a drug dealing meeting at Ocean docks.

- Difficulty: Hard, all enemies have a high accuracy and the enemy boss have combat shotguns. They all die in water though.

- Variety: Good, the enemies are the ballas and the russians. Though the water ruined the weapon usefulness.

Fit for F.B.I:

- Length: Really short, only one minute, though it was an epilogue mission. The cop duo go to San Fierro.

- Difficulty: Easy, as the player will never die in this mission, unless the player wants to suicide.

- Variety: I have to say it's mediocre. But since it's an epilogue, that section is mark void.

Very good overall icon14.gif ! The missions are more challenging which makes sense to the story as Los Santos is a city of gangsters after all. As for the writing, it's a good improvement comparing to part one. Try to do some text coloring, it might help you to make your writing more polished.

Good job! Can't wait for part 3 biggrin.gif .

Once again, thanks. This part took longer then the first (more content) but im happy I got it out of the way.

As for text colouring, no thanks. My game always crashes when I try to utilise it, so I think I would be better off without it.

Also, I am aware of the cutscene bug inside the store, thats why I put the items underneath the actors to support them during it tounge.gif.

I just downloaded your .zip and when I opened it I just saw two folders: lspd and lvpd. If I hadn't read this entire thread, I wouldn't have known the lvpd is the first part of the story. Other people will get confused by this and probably play the missions in the wrong order. Always clearly name your folders in a way that keeps them organised and in order. For example, you could name the folders "Part One: LVPD" and "Part Twp: LSPD" respectively. That way, people know what set of missions come first.

Lol, you don't need to go around creating logos for everyone man. I will stay with the one I created. I think its better to show your own talent, (enen if its crappy) when creating logos. Thanks for your offer, but Im fine smile.gif.

EDIT: I crerated a new logo. Im sure its not that good by your standards, but at least it's more colourful then the last one.

SAPD Chronicles part 3, which I have entitled "Hunting the Loco Syndicate: Part 1" (yes, this ain't the last part), is just over half complete, it's taking much longer to create these, as I am giving them a heavy storyline.

In addition to this, I had a signiture box created (courtesy of geomy) for the SAPD Chronicles. Feel free to use it if you are a fan of this series biggrin.gif.

Created a video that acts as a trailer for Part 3 (or pretty much the whole series). You can find it here and on my first post.

Enjoy biggrin.gif. Only 2 missions left to make.

LOL you noob. It's clearly two different accounts. Your account has only 6 edits. The real Drift-Kingz account has about 400.

Also, Drift-Kings did not join on the 13th of July.

Wannabe noob.

Ignored. You are obviously 9 years old. No point talking to you anymore. You are not annoying me or making me mad, I find someone with a single digit IQ such as yourself very amusing to observe.
