Markk Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 I was starting the mission "The Green Sabre" when Cesar calls, and I clicked return (enter) to end the phone call, but apparently the phone stayed as a weapon and I couldn't enter a car or use different weapons, so I reloaded the game. Phone still there. I loaded another save game which worked fine, then loaded the other one again, and my game crashed. I tried restarting GTA, still crashes, but other saved games work. Help me, i don't want to start all over again, or use a downloaded saved file, unless I have no other options. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lil weasel Posted April 3, 2010 Share Posted April 3, 2010 the game is well worth the replay, I've stopped counting at 37 replays. First. Do you have any Mod in your game. If so get rid of them. Play the game. If no problems you have no problem. If you put the mods back one at a time and play the game, should you have a problem go to the Modding forums for help. We presume you are playing the game with the Original DVD in the drive, you are Not using a No-CD program/crack. You are not trying to play a game that was downloaded from the internet? Markk Posted April 3, 2010 Author Share Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) I bought the game but lost the CD so I used the no CD hack. But thing is, other saved games work, so I think its the file that is corrupt. I did try it with a clean copy of San Andreas and it still didn't work, so it can't be the mods. I guess if I can't fix it I can replay, because that saved game already had some problems, like it can't show up territories anymore, and I didn't even do "The Green Sabre" mission yet. And I downloaded it too, because I have lost the original one I had, which was on "The Wrong Side of the Tracks" mission, so I downloaded one which one that same mission. Anyway, to please 'lil weasel' and the moderators, if you still have the game box you could post a photograph of it with this topic in your monitor next to it (or so) to keep everyone happy... it's hard to fake.
