Doc Rikowski
Since I downloaded the last GTA update whenever I try to host a game I'm stuck in a empty lobby and absolutely nobody joins. It doesn't matter the time of the day nor the preferences/MP modes. No random player will join. I tried to wait for 30m in a row... not a single soul. Before the update it worked fine. I can only host games with my buddies or join someone else's game. Anyone experiencing exactly the same? Any solution? Can I delete the update somehow? It's annoying... And what's that "Profile" file in the SAVED DATA UTILITIES folder? It's updated in every session... was it there before the update? Thanks in advance for any help. After the recent update (PC), GFWL has been telling me my NAT was set to strict when it wasnt. A strict NAT will not allow players to join most of the time. Hit the "home' while in gta to display GFWL. Go to: settings, network settings, and check your NAT type. I fixed it by restoring my router to factory defaults. I have to do this every time i close out RS social club and reopen it to launch the game. Its a huge pain in the ass. I even tried reinstalling the previous update and it was fine. Only patch 5 has this issue. Hope this helps!
Doc Rikowski
Thanks a lot for replying. I thought I would never get a reply. In this case Idk if NAT is my problem. My NAT type should be 1... (I'll check it again though cause I'm not sure atm). I'm on PSN and I never got any message. If I host and I invite people in my list I have no problems. I can host a full room. But if I host and wait for random players I get none. I've got a modem. Usually it's fine and I restart it before every session. As for the update Idk how to delete it... SICKRAGE
As for the update Idk how to delete it... I'm guessing the update is permanent in preparation for EFLC. Hopfully it's fixed, or at least doesn't go un-noticed.
Golden_Ace
An update is permanent. Actually, there are some things i've noticed on the last update on PSN. I've been server kicked to single player lots of times (lost connection to server and to host), game crashes when starting, game crashes when loading... All started happening a lot after the last update. Never had these problems before the update. My NAT is exactly the same since before the update... at least never had problems in BDB (remember that bug with the missconfigured ports in the router). nambr9
same thing happening here. since the update (ps3), player traffic is low. also if i host a free game there is not a soul in the lobby, and once i get into the game there is player joining every 15 minutes. Before ppl were just pouring in.
