NTAuthority
Firstly there is a lot of new content in the DLC, Secondly I am sure they are compressed but then why was the PC version of GTA 4 twice the size of the Xbox 360 version then ? Thirdly this is Microsoft they don't do work arounds they expect companies to do work arounds for them. The 2gb file limit is obviously present within the GFWL system and they won't go out of their way to work around that just for the pc audience. 4 GB total limit, I don't expect Microsoft to make that platform using signed integers. But they're part of the main game. It will be interesting to see how many discs the EFLC comes on with the PC version, technically speaking the EFLC should come on two discs if it only comes on one then we have to ask ourselves what did Rockstar drop to fit it all on 1 disc. I really expect it to be on 2 still, main difference from 360 to PC were higher-resolution textures and audio being uncompressed vs. XMA. Inactive in GTA/R* title modification indefinitely pursuant to a court order obtained by TTWO. Good job acting against modding!
FullMetal
Charlie needs to f*cking leave already. It's obvious he hates Rockstar and (probably even) GTA, so what's the point? He's just trollin' now... No he isn't and if you don't like his sceptical comments and harsh criticism towards R* then you should be the ones to 'leave' if you don't like it. Anyone here has a right to express his/her opinion so just 'take it'. Although I do find it odd how you (CC) suddenly 'care' so much about 'AA/newer DX support' being added yet 'back in the day' GTAIV on PC got released you were not really making a big deal out of this (you were actually telling others to calm the f*ck down and saying how AA ain't that big of a difference and whatnot). Sunrise Driver
Charlie said he didn't care about EFLC anymore. So what's he still doing here (in EFLC section)? Yes, we understood already that R* suck blah blah, no need to repeat this every hour.
Cilogy
Sometimes people have a need to make sure everyone is at their level of either depression, sadness, or disappointment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downer Also, about the new screens, people are saying that the screens are better than 360 only because they want them to be. They are the same, deal with it.
CharmingCharlie
Again for those attacking me if you do not like my posts then either IGNORE me or report me. If I am doing anything wrong the mods will deal with me in an appropriate manner. I really can't understand why more people aren't critical of those screen shots. Lets ignore the quality of them for a moment and just look at the actual content of the screen shots. Now these are likely to be the only screen shots we will get of the DLC and what do we get ? a picture of Luis standing around doing sod all, a picture of luis sitting down doing sod all, a picture of Johnny standing in front of a cop car and a picture of Johnny riding his bike. Now with the exception of the Jonny/bike screen shot those screenies are incredibly uninspired and dull. Let's contrast it with the first 4 screen shots Rockstar released for the xbox 360 version :- Now you would have to be a pretty strange person to say that the 4 PC screenies are even as close to exciting or as interesting as the four xbox screenies. It just feels as if Rockstar isn't even trying with the PC screen shots. As for the technical quality I honestly do not think those screen shots are that good, they don't look any different from what we have seen on the Xbox 360. I even have to question whether those screen shots feature the hi-res textures that the PC has and if they don't feature the hi-res textures then why ? Surely the whole point of screen shots is to show the game off to the best of it's ability, if that is the case then those screen shots are not doing a very good job. I still don't really care much for AA and if it was included in GTA I probably wouldn't use it (I don't use it in Just Cause 2), As for the Directx issue a lot of people are now switching to Dx10 (the steam survey shows that dx9 gamers are now a minority) but the GTA's are going to be stuck now using Dx9 until they get around to porting it to Dx10 which will bring no end of headaches along the way. Uhm, maybe because he's fckin' angry about the delay? It's not the first pull from R*, so it's a valid reason.
Killer.Khan
The PS3 and Xbox 360 have virtually no graphical difference at their top level 1080p HDMI outputs. They both look stunning. Of course you could optimize your PC to look better than both. But that would cost you lots of money.

They actually do alot PS3 and Xbox 360 are not really that good they have 2x lower sized textures PC doesnt they have full sized textures which makes it look REALLY stunning but then again if you were talking about something else then sorry i only read your post XD

Of course you could optimize your PC to look better than both. But that would cost you lots of money. The PS3 version renders the game at a lower resolution than the 360 version. (PS3's 630p vs 360's 720p) They are both then scaled to the desired resolution. Because the PS3 version has to scale up more, it is slightly less detailed. The PC version, on the other hand, renders at resolution. No scaling necessary. Not all games are like this, but it is true for GTA IV and, most likely, the episodes. Or maybe as soon as I can make a php image generator to not have to make them manually.
