This topic is in progress and I am still working on it.

 

 

It's 2010 and Brian Murphy is on the streets of Northen USA.

Brian runs a gang called the "Northern Aces". Brian was awating the arrival of his cousin Lester at the private airstrip just out of Seatlh, suddenly everyone hears gunshots exlosians, as they look out into the distance they see a bunch of people speeding towards them shooting, most people at the private airstrip died including Brian's cousin. But, Brian is still alive, he manages to get away from the ambushers. He finds a car not far away and speeds towards Seatlh.

 

Brian Tries to take back the streets and get revenge on the ambushers, he also has to rebuild his gang since most of them were killed. As he builds up his gang it becomes one of Northern States Most powerful Gang/crime syndicate.

2) Bus- You can wait at the bus depot or bus stops to catch a bus, choose the bus stop you want to stop at.

 

3) Train- Wait at any Train station to catch a train.

 

4) Subway- Wait at any Subway to catch a underground-train.

 

5) Airplane- Go to any Airport to fly to any City. Costs $200 to catch a flight.

You can buy Backpacks, Holdalls, Gun holsters & Briefcases at clothes shops or in Supermarkets. These are visible on the Protaganist, you can leave the bags or backpack in your car or at your safehouse if you don't want to carry it around.

 

VIGILANTES, MOST WANTED, & POLICE PATROL

 

These missions are similar to the previous GTA Games. But you also have the option of arresting them aswell, you might have to beat the suspect up a little then slap the handcuffs on them and put them in the back of the car, then take them to the police station and put 'em in a cell.

 

When you unlock the Printworks and Clothing Works, you can order Police uniforms and Badges to be made for you, you can also get a police radio, Handcuffs, Police Nightstick (baton), and pepper spray added to the inventory when you get the police uniform. You also unlock the ability to respond to crimes reported in the area when you recieve calls on the Police Radio when you start the "Police Patrol". With the Police Radio you can divert Police to a different location and make the police got to your position if you want one of their cars, you can wear & have the police uniform, Handcuffs, Pepper Spray, Police Badge, & Police Radio anytime you want to, just go to the Police Station or Safehouse to pick them up.

 

WAREHOUSE, GANG MANSIONS UPGRADES & VEHICLE UPGRADES

 

Warehouse and Gang Mansion Upgrades:

 

You can upgrade your Warehouse, TV studio, Mansions, printworks, and some safehouses on GTA: Northern States. You can put up security Camera's and order more rooms in your buildings, you can make a security room, the security room contains Computers wired up with the cameras so your gang can watch and listen to everything around the buildingto make sure no one is breaking in or snooping around your place.

 

Vehicle Upgrades:

 

You can upgrade your vehicle just like San Andreas, you can change paintjobs and vinals, mount a gun on the front of your car, tint the windows, change car rims & tires, and loads more!

 

CAR CRASHES & BUILDING DESTRUCTION & VANDALISM

 

CAR CRASHES:

 

In GTA Northern States when Cars crash and roll over they don't blow up, it's more like realistic because the car don't blow up when they crash.

 

BUILDINGS & VANDALISM & PROPERTY DAMAGE:

 

You can tag on building on this game, you can make your own tags and don't have to tag over other tags.

 

You can also blow up Some building you want to by blowing it up with a rocket launcher, you can burn down buildings also, and smash windows on buildings, the properties you damage will be re-buit again.

Lincoln TV Studios in Downtown Seatlh- You can buy this place after a "story mission". There will be a Newsvan parked outside for you to do missions in When doing the Newsvan sidemission you have to drive to the selected destination and then with a video camera, record everything at the scene. After you've finished recording, take the camera back to the studio. You can also do other missions inside the studio.

 

West Olympis Show Theatre- You run this place, you can schedule shows and earn money from selling tickets for people to come and watch the show.

 

Canada News Studio- Similar to the Lincoln TV Studios

 

OTHER:

The Northern Printworks- You can make up fake cash and Identificatin ID and Police/FBI Badges

Clothing Works- You can make/order uniforms to be made for you, anything from Police to burgler uniforms

 

MISSIONS

 

(Before and After the missions there will be cutscenes that will play)

 

#1. (The start of the game): After being ambushed, Brian manages to get away and find a car. The first thing you will have to do is get in to the car and drive to Jack's (Brian's brother) house (his house will be marked on the map).

#2. Lay low: Drive with Jack to a safehouse in Sunset Hills, Seatlh.

MISSION PASSED

REWARD: $50 and a Safehouse

 

Harold Donald:

#3. Recruiting Drive: Drive around and look for people to recruit for the gang, once you've found three people, head over to the ganghouse in Henderson, Seatlh, and drop the new recruits off. Now go to meet Harold in Downtown, drive him to the warehouse in Industrial.

REWARD: $150

 

Jack Murphy:

#4. Farewell Lester: Drive Jack, Harold and Lawrence over to the Cemetery in Seatlh, Protect everyone at the service from the El Corona gang. After the service drive Jack, Harold and Lawrence back to the ganghouse.

REWARD: $200

 

Andy Robins:

#5. Bad Cop: You have to go over to Downtown to help the crooked police Officer Andy Robins from getting attackted from the El Corona gang. You have to kill all of the El corona's that are trying to attack Andy, and hold them off until the Cops come.

REWARD: $200

 

Andy Robins:

#6. The Burndown: Head over to one of the El Corona gang's hideout over in West Suburbs, through petrol bombs at the gang house until it says at the bottom of the screen "Return to Andy's office at Downtown Seatlh Police Station".

ROBBERIES

 

BANK ROBBERIES

 

To rob a bank, just walk in, then pull out a weapon, then walk up to the teller and press the up button to trigger the mission (You can only trigger the mission only if you have the weapon out at the time). Press the left button for a Negative response like:

Give me the f*cking money now or i'll shoot you!!!

Or a Postive Response by pressing the right:

Give me the money now and everything will be ok.

You can also break into the bank safe, you will need an acomplice to make the hostages keep their hands up and make sure they don't alert the cops.

As soon as you recieve the money you can shoot the teller or just leave before the cops get there.

 

SHOP ROBBERIES

 

To trigger a shop robbery walk up to the Checkout operator and pull out a gun and aim the gun at the operator and press the up button (you have to have a gun to start the robbery). To give a negative response press the left button or a positive response by pressing the right button. You can either wait for him to give the money, shoot the operator, or leave if the cops come.

 

HOUSE ROBBERIES

 

To trigger a houuse robbery, smash a window of a house with a gun or baseball bat by manually aiming the gun or bat at the window then shooting or bashing at it, or trying to pick the door lock, then climb through the window by pressing the square/x button, or walk into the house through the doorway when you've broken the lock. Once you've gained entry grab anything you see that you can pick up by pressing the triangle/Y button and then get out the window you came through or going out the front door before the cops arrive if they are dispatched.

 

GANG RECRUITING

 

When walking around the streets you can try to recruit anyone, some people will want to join the gang, some people won't.

 

Some people have different abilities like, car mechanics & Gun technicians, computer experts, people with good combat skills and good shooting skills etc., it is best to have a gang with people that have good abilities but it is good also to have some members that have no abilities because you can get them trained up at a gym or at one of your gang assets. You Can recruit people from in USA & in Canada.

I think you need better presentation and a more in-depth story.

That said, you have some nice ideas here, the setting is definatley new, however i don't like the idea of a decorated cop who builds a gang.

I was thinking of changing the overview and that he build a gang, I'm still thinking about it.

Try to be more creative on the names. I know SA names sound like they have been just mangled up from originals, but there is actually some thought put into it.

 

Los Angeles = The Angels

Los Santos = The Saints

 

Las Vegas = The Fertile Valleys

Las Venturas = The Fortunes ("Ventura" is better translated as luck, but there is no plural for it in English.)

 

San Francisco = Saint Francis of Assisi

San Fierro = Saint Fierro, fictional character whose name is actually a reference to San Fransisco's motto, "Oro en Paz, Fierro en Guerra" - "Gold in Peace, Iron in War".

 

You see the point, don't you? They didn't just mix letters together. They took something about the name and the place, and turned it into a new name.

I guess Zapple and Window are parodies of Apple and Windows? They already have GTA versions if I remember correctly. Apple's is Fruit, don't remember Windows.

 

Also, a suggestion for Bismarck could be another pre-WWII German leader (going on the city sharing a name with Otto von Bismarck.)

It's a fair bit of criticism, though. Yes, it'd be nice if people provided something a little more constructive, but still, you post something. It's obviously not going to be perfect. So people will comment on what you got wrong. Try to learn from it.

 

I've seen what happens on forums where it was strongly encouraged to only leave positive feedback. Threads turn to utter sh*t in no time. So if you don't like negative responses, channel it towards motivation to do better.

Yeah, but it would be nice to have some good comments aswell, I changed some city's names and I've changed Coshington State to Lincoln State.

To be honest I think this idea is awful, nobody would buy a game about a fired cop turned thug, all his friends would still be cops. He would still have the moral code that made him want to be a cop, that's just stupid. Also, the names of the areas...wow.

While positive and negative feedback is requested for the majority of these topics, you guys don't need to come in and just be like this sucks horse dick. That's nothing more then spam. He asked for feedback, not for you to tell him it's complete sh*t. With that being said, it's brings me to the old saying, "If you can't say nothing nice, don't say anything at all". i didnt say the game sucks horse dick i said the cop thing. and some parts of the game r good, i like the black character idea. especially with all the skinheads in the forums talkin racist sh*t
