Killoz101
Ok, So I recently got the newest update from LIVE for GTA IV. Updated it and played the game. Only for it to start and have all the colours/textures messed up (Imagine thermal vision but everywhere!) and I tried to get into the option to choose graphics and colours but it just crashes, reinstalled the game. Still has the bug, wiped it completely and installed it again, still has the dang bug. Updated my drivers, STILL HAS THE DAMN BUG! Can someone help! I even sent an email two weeks ago to R* and still no reply! Specs: Nivida Geforce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+ No mods installed. Please someone help! mkey82
Try installing some older game version, preferably the one that worked OK before. You will have to reinstall the game for this to work.

Killoz101
Nope still doesn't work, I cannot access my display tab on the menu, but I can get a quick glance at if before it crashes and the bars for adjusting some lighting and grammar and all messed up. mkey82
Try deleting the game settings (look in the FAQ for details). Which game version have you installed?
Killoz101
When I reinstalled, I tried it without any patches, so it isn't anything to do with the patches.
Killoz101
Just tried http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...entry1059261920, about removing the files in settings. Restarted tried to access my display settings and it still crashes.
DODI3OG
What did you update in your game? Maybe it's because of the update you've made. Try reinstalling the program you've updated.
mkey82
When I reinstalled, I tried it without any patches, so it isn't anything to do with the patches. You should update the game.
Killoz101
Just updated it to 1.0.4.0 the patch that had worked fine before the newest one was realeased and it still had the same texture problem!
mkey82
Did you change the GPU driver version? Try using some other driver, you know how quirky this goddamn game is.
Agente Silva
My friend... That sounds like graphic corruption due to overheat or malfunction. Have you tweaked your graphic card? Errmmm... do you punch the table and is your PC on the table Make sure your card is fitted in place (a friend of mine had a very heavy cooler on the graphic card wich caused bad contact and artifacts - we solved the problem by using any cable to suport the board stright You might want to consider a BIOS Update/Flash as well...
