Rastafida
I am a newbie to GTA 4. But I swear it is the coolest story game on planet earth. I am however having problems saving my game chapter by chapter. This is very important because I need to go back to already completed chapters to do things over and over again. And I can't find some of those chapters anymore. Can somebody out there please help me with some tips on the best way to save? I would really appreciate your help. GTAking33
you can just create a different save slot for each mission (wich is what I think you mean by "chapter") by saving right before the mission you want to replay and then just load up that save when you want to replay the mission again. punknoodle
If your wanting to have a save file for every mission like it could be done for GTA3, VC and SA (for PC obviously...like I did) as far as I know it cant be done for IV. One of the very few disappointing things about IV IMO! That and no replay function/save. I've just saved a few that are right before some of my fav missions...about all you can do. Rastafida
yh punknoodle that is exactly what I mean. Saving every mission sequentially so that you can always go back to do some repairs like they did in Heavy Rain. Quite a pity that it is not possible here. Rastafida
Just one more question before I get it right. How many save slots are available? I am on ps3. I can see 12 only.
skiddmark
I haven't tried it with this game but I wonder if you can MOVE the save folder to another location, create a new save folder and put one gamesave in it for a starting point. I used to do this with "DRIVER: You are the Wheelman".

Lol, why not just get it right the first time? It's not like every mission is going to be majorly important to the story. Save your game at a very important part of the time each time. Not EVERY SINGLE MISSION.
