I've enjoyed IV the most. I love the new game engine. It's so much more enjoyable as a game world. The city is so detailed and has so many unique features that it feels like a real place. The more I play around in Liberty City the more I find to do. There are tons of little places that are enjoyable to me whether it's a good place to fight, a fun place to play with vehicles, or just really nice scenery which may sound stupid but it's what amazes me about IV. TBoGT added more fun stuff to do after all the stories are done which is nice. I've enjoyed that too. I also enjoyed each of the 3 stories associated with IV. They were all top notch and very fun to play through. Niko is definitely my favorite GTA character.

 

Along with all that I just enjoy the new game engine more than the others. Driving is now a blast and feels more real and is a lot more fun than many of the pure driving games on the market. The peds are better and funnier than ever, the cops are way smarter and are a blast to mess with now. The physics in the game are superb with excellent object deformation and character physics. I never get tired or running over peds just to see how they fly over, or under, my car. I love the noises they make when you hit them. All the grunts and groans and cursing. Very funny. I just really get sucked into this game world more than any of the others and I've easily spent several hundred hours playing around between the stories and just messing around. I never did that with any of the other GTA games including SA. To me IV just has a special quality to it that is rare in gaming. It's hard to describe but it's what keeps me playing long after I would have quit playing most other games.
