Need help

Alright i've got a question, i'm fairly new to scripting, but i've done it before, quit and just started again, everything seems to be easier and coming in smoothly, i'm creating a mission with something like need for speed, game will be called Metal Gears, what i'm doin is at the beginning you are in SF with a good amount of money cruising around with your crew, using carrec files to do this, create races with checkpoints in missions. but what i'd like to do is after a race is completed against a rival crew, i'd like to make some cutscenes with a slow mo effect for drifts and powerslides into parking spots that i've created, using the carrec script, anyway, is there an opcode thats like

 

You finished the race

cutscene starts char is driving to stop destination

while the carrec file is running to this destination

place a wait code for a certain amount of time

then at the perfect timing of a drift around corners

"Slow Mo Opcode begins"

Leave other racers in the dust

un activate slow mo

cutscene char gets to destination

 

can anyone tell me if there is Slow mo opcode?

There IS a slow mo opcode;

015D: set_gamespeed 0.9

where 1.0 is the 'normal' value, 1.0 to 0.1 is slow mo, anything higher is fast mo.

 

My advice is to not use carrec as IMO it's too unnatural (don't wanna brag, but you saw that CARWRECK project of mine? been trying to make it more 'natural') and not post in here. Modding questions belong in the modding forums!
