I NEED Deal Breaker BUDDIES

Hey everybody

 

I seem to have a few buddies that play GTA IV online still.

But I cannot find many people to play DEAL BREAKER!

 

Mostly I just like using this to rank up a bit quicker.

Team Death Match might be the best for that.

At least in this game (DB) I seem to get a few more kills.

 

SETTINGS

I turn OFF friendly fire

Replenish Health ON

AI is usually easy or med, although hard doesn't seem to be too much of a challenge either.

Chat gets left on for people who use it, I do not.

 

STRATEGY

Once the game gets going I try to keep my strategy but that cannot always work :

- Get the heli around the block OR if it will not load, drive on the above highway (love that jump at the end)

- While at the meeting location (killing time) I collect rockets for later use.

- I also like to make sure I save the last package I collect, to be on the same level I depart. (ex. if I leave the heli on the top level, the last one is on the top OR if I want to run for the dock to shoot a rocket at the boat, the last is on the ground)

To get the other guys that show up, there are some options:

- Use rocket from the dock to destroy the boat OR get in a boat, easier with a buddy, chase and shoot to kill.

- To get the dudes on the road and you want to use the heli, you need a shooter with you OR just grab the nearest car/bike, chase and shoot to kill.

By the end of all the killing, it's just a race back to the boss' house.

A heli still in good condition is best.

Although I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter who gets there first, just be there before the time runs out.

 

JUST ONE REQUEST FOR MY POTENTIAL BUDDY :

please don't fire a rocket/grenade/molotov/etc... into the garage and kill everyone at the end.

if you do, I will not be your friend. And you can't come to my party.

Also I'd always shoot the boat on shore, never grab a boat, it's way too slow.

Taking the highway isn't any faster, but if you like the jump, by all means go for it. I never liked it so I always take the city streets instead. I found it's faster and you never land on the roof causing you to have to run to the building. Using the streets you can easily make it by 1:35-1:40 so see how fast you make it on the highway.

Are you looking for people to get the time or just making money? You can make lots of money pretty fast playing BD, BDB and noose. Much more than any other way for the most part.

Just wondering, I don't play on PS3 very much.

I played with this guy RedRover (some variation) and he was really good at chopper blading the boat if we missed, which got me thinking, why not just go right at the boat and flip it over?

 

If you're good at it, this seems to be a surefire way to save time and already be in the air.

 

Disallow is great but you will NEVER beat 5 minutes with disallow, sadly. Trust me, I spent months trying

I've only managed 2 sucessful boat flips... ive screwed it up alot more and ended up in water... hint if this occurs... stay in chopper... u will die and respawn on land... saves you some swimming time.
