The Guru
You should have posted this in the Question topic. Anyway, it means that they are looking for people to work for them (like recruiting). SO you can go and write your application and hand it in to them and they'll go through and maybe you'll get the job. SHXC
If they are currently accepting applications, then they are hiring. Your best bet is to go into the McDonalds you phoned, go to a member of staff and say you phoned up and the woman on the phone said that they're hiring, so can you pick up an application form. 1. Take application form home 2. Fill out application form. 3. Take application form back with your details. 4. Wait for response 5. .... 6. Profit? I usually give companies a week or two, and if they don't contact me, I contact them.
Rebel
You can always do the application for McDonalds online from their site. Or you could actually pop into the place and ask for an application form to fill in or hand in your CV. I doubt you'll be allowed to work for 6 hours every day after school. I'd say the most you'd probably manage is some part time shift work, so it depends on the rotor that they have up on how long you'll work.

Ryan
thank u both. But i want to know should i work 6 hours after school?i come home from school at 2:30 You don't set how many hours you work. If your lucky enough to get hired, you'll have some freedom to chose what days you work, but as for what shifts you work on what day and how long those shifts are you'll most likely have no control over. Just make sure you don't plan on working everyday after school. 2 or 3 days tops during the mon-fri bracket. Best of luck to ya. Tyler
Doesn't Mcdonald require G.E.D's or High school grads now? anyway's if you don't know what an application is, you shouldn't be looking for a damn job, you should be looking for an updated dictionary to read! jimmy.
If you can't get through a phone call with McDonalds without the help of a dictionary, the exciting fast food sector might be a little too advanced of a career path for you. I suggest you search Craigslist and make money turning tricks. I can assure you it pays good money.
Vanzant
If they are currently accepting applications, then they are hiring. Your best bet is to go into the McDonalds you phoned, go to a member of staff and say you phoned up and the woman on the phone said that they're hiring, so can you pick up an application form. Two things with this post I'd like to point out. Never assume a company has jobs available because they're accepting applications. Most companies accept applications and hold them for Six months in case jobs are needed. Some places that have temp company provided associates for example have job openings but don't accept applications. Second thing is don't go to any establishment and claim a person told you that they are hiring when they didn't. That's going to cause you more trouble than it's worth if you do get hired on. Putting words in some ones mouth is a very bad idea. Good luck on the job hunt.
makeshyft
This has been such a f*cked-up, long saga of complete ineptitude, that I can only imagine you have been trolling people the entire time. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is actually as stupid as you are trying to portray yourself to be. If they are, then they should never, ever work in the food service industry, as they will literally kill people. Every topic you have started which relates to your job hunt has been filled with a level of retardation that is so complete, that it cannot possibly be truth. f*ck off and die, makeshyft

RomanViking
Well he's obviously looking for a job, and has been on that task for awhile now... But by now, yes he should understand what "we're accepting applications" means. Online applications are worthless unless you have a resume. For a fast food position it's best to physically go to the restaurant, fill out a physical application and then give it to them in person.

Wow, Pierre, you've been looking for a job in the fast food industry for what, a year? Two? And you still haven't come up with anything. For crying out loud, those places hire anyone. I could tell you many a tale of folk who work in such places, and I don't even eat at them. At least what you lack in brain power, you make up for in dumb, mule like persistence. Once my Mcdonalds hired some retard who tried to cook 80 pieces of bacon in a big pile at once The local Wendy's here hired some kid that I saw in school scratching dandruff and sh*t out of his hair and eating it during class and lunch. Needless to say, I avoided that Wendy's.

Black-hawk
Ugh, the OP uses text speak, doesn't know what a job application is and has posted six threads regarding jobs within the fast food industry. Either he's mentally retarded or just trolling. Either way, go buy yourself a dictionary and start attending your classes. Although flipping burgers for a living might just be your thing. Please don't put 4 oz of mustard on a hamburger ... please try to be consistent. Also, please try to smile and kind to everyone and report any safety violations to the local health dept. Thank you. PS. You may want to have someone double-check your application for spelling/grammatical errors before it is submitted. Good luck to you sir!
