KraKsX Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 Playing GTA IV on the Xbox 360: I'm at the mission One Last Thing (haven't decided yet to take the deal or not) So Iv been doing the side missions, or trying to. And Iv gotten my self up to over 75%, when i should unlock Romans Taxi and Dwayne's Help. But when I use my 'cell phone' i cant call for a taxi or get Dwayne's help, nor can I do Little Jacobs Drug runs. No ones called me in along time, and every time i try and call someone i get 'voice-mail'. So I seem to be stuck, and Id like to not have to start over because of this. Any suggestion? All takes place at Romans wedding. I chose the deal because you get $250,000, and you kill Dimitri afterwards. Its a win win situation. KraKsX Posted March 30, 2010 Author Share Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) I did it, got the credits and everything, Im now at 78.75% doe with the game. BUT my friends still dont give me ANY Special Abilities. No calling a cab, nothing. Can anyone tell me whats wrong? What am I missing? EDIT: Does like have to be at 100%? or what is high enough? Forbidden69 Posted April 1, 2010 Share Posted April 1, 2010 It sounds like you're confusing your Game Progress stat with the friend's "like stats". The Like stats for each of your friends are at the bottom of the Stats page. The Game Progress stat doesn't do much to increase your friend's Like throughout the course of the story missions. Roman, Jacob and Packie will get small increases as you go along, because some of the missions directly affect them. The side missions you've mentioned mainly increase their Respect for you, not their Like. To increase their Like stats you have to answer their calls, take them on activities, and give them lifts when they ask for your help. If you've ignored them completely as you've went along, or injured them/not bothered picking them up at the hospital, their Like stat will drop to the point where they won't answer your calls, or call you, for a LONG time (the probability of their calling you again gradually increases with time, depending on the character's personality. It's easy to quickly piss-off Packie to the point where he won't bother calling you - Jacob, on the other hand, is a leech who always loves you and won't leave you alone for very long). http://www.gta4.net/friends-and-girlfriends/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
