Pricedown GTA fonts

Hi, Im in a hurry so please forgive my ignorance.

Can i use pricedown without photoshop? can i use it paint?

 

I have downloaded it and it comes up with different sizes for 'the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog 1234567890'

 

How do i use this as i want to create topics in GTA V with GTA style logos thanks. Any and all help will be appreciated,

You kinda need to write it down white, add a black 4px stroke and then a smaller white stroke so I'm not sure if Paint is cabable for that, try Gimp?

No, and Paint doesn't support transparency either.

The proper way to do it (and the way R* did it) is using Illustrator and Photoshop. First, they position the text like it's meant to be in Illustrator and give it a 20 px black stroke (stroke in Illustrator are not round). The text color needs to be black. Then you import that to Photoshop, and using the same size Pricedown font that you used in Illustrator, you make 3 text layers, gRand, theft, auto. Now, this is teh tricky part. You have to set the layers on top of the black shape from Illustrator so that it looks right. After that, you are finished.

I think you all took the wrong thing from what he is saying, If I'm right you have opened the font by a double click, you wanna go to control panel, fonts right click and install new font then point it to where the font is located, once that's done delete the font from desktop and open up PS

if you're talking about instaling then you have 2 ways

 

drag the .ttf into control panel/ fonts/

 

or

 

right click on it and press 'instal'
