Yes, it is the 21st Century, and having that on the game will have it AO+ rated, meanming only few stores will bother to carry the game, also making it harder for some people to obtain the game.

That is unless ESRB does not catch it like the "Hot Coffee Mod" from GTA:SA, but I'm sure they will..."Inspect" that small piece of the game.

But just because of better technology and having "twenty-first century in the yard" is absolutly no reason to waste time on such a useless detail.

You’re not really that naïve, are you? Do you think that because you grew up in the 21st Century, that all previous generations ignored the vagina, or that all previous generations have a lesser understanding of these sorts of things?

I hate to sound old here, but that expression (it’s the 21st Century) is used every decade to try to describe older people as being out of touch with the modern age (with variations):

1) It’s the 70’s, man, not the fifties.

2) It’s the 80’s; the 60’s are over.

3) It’s the 90’s; stop living in the 70’s.

4) Hello, it’s the 21st Century in the yard.

And I’m sure that new expressions will follow along for future generations.

 

The vagina has been immortalized over several centuries in books, drawings, paintings, pictures, and even video games (ever heard of ‘Custer’s Revenge’?); and all of that prior to the 21st Century. (gasp - people actually knew about the vagina back then; Astounding!!!!) - sarcasm.

 

Just so you know, public nudity is more of a cultural thing, rather than a generational thing (which goes against your "old-fashioned" quote). Each culture has different ways of dealing with public nudity, which includes the vagina. It’s very naïve to think that you understand the world’s view (or history’s view) on this subject without exploring all the perspectives concerning it, and I don’t claim to understand those views either.

 

And since it seems that Americans in general find consensual sex and nudity more offensive than killing and murdering people (based on movies, television, and video games), then it seems that putting a fully detailed vagina in a video game may cause an “Adults Only” rating to be placed on it (just like GTA_getaway_driver stated), and the crusade to have that rating put on that video game would probably be led by people that most likely have a vagina themselves (cough - Clinton).

 

Creating this topic isn’t going to change public opinion about viewing a vagina in a video game, however if you’re just trying to express your own opinion about it, then that’s cool.

 

One more thing, what does “in the yard” mean? Is that what the cool kids say to each other nowadays?

Do conversations go something like this?

Kid #1: Hello, it’s the 21st Century in the yard.

Kid #2 (in response to Kid #1’s comment): Wow, you’re so cool!!!

Well coming from someone who's been married for 11 years.. the addition of that would be the most action I've seen in weeks!
