Leave My Name Out
Hey people, my step dads friend is probably going to sell us his superclocked geforce 8800 GTX. I can't remember the specs of it, but I think it's the same as this, if not, similar. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BFG-Technologies-GeF...=item230634acd2 I was wondering if that would be good enough to at least play IV on medium settings, with a good frame-rate. I also plan to play Just Cause 2, but I have to play it on lowest settings. I plan to get at least another Gig or two of RAM as I only have 2GB. I also might get a new processor too. I currently use a Geforce 9600GT. Will the superclocked 8800 be much better? If at all?
Jigglyass
It would be better, but rather pointless because the improvement would be minimal. Invest into 5770 or 5850.
Leave My Name Out
Alright thanks for the quick reply. What power supply do those 2 cards you mentioned run on? I checked on ebay, and one of them was a DDR5. I highly doubt my PC has a powerful enough power supply, let alone enough room to fit one.
Kenster1025
What type of PSU do you have currently? A 600w or 700w would do fine.
Jigglyass
450 Watt could do for 5770 as long as you dont overclock the CPU. 5850 500 watt minimum.
