Disallow training?

Recommended Posts

I've gotten quite good at GTA, I'm just under rank 8 and I consider myself a decent shooter. I'm ok at shooting with Disallow enabled, but I'm not excellent. Has anybody got any tips or tricks for shooting with disallow?

If you want to see how I play, click on the link in my signature. 95% of the people I play either use frags or turbos as I only play in private rooms.

You're real good, I think I'll just set my preferences to AA Disallow and keep playing until I become good.

Add me, I can invite you to matches with turbo users. They might be cheaters but it's good practice.

Ok, but there might be some trouble with me getting into matches. I don't have a stable router

oh I know right. It gets to the point where I just play the other game modes. It's pretty ridiculous going max speed on the freeway one of the fastest vehicles in the game and having some player make 1 instant kill shot right when you slam into his ass. He doesn't even die either like he's got some god mode on.

nah but what really get me too are the players with very bad connections jutting and glitching around confusing everyone who gets near them lol. My gameplay is generally very smooth without glitches because of a fast conneciton, but a very few players lag really bad and prove difficult to actually hit sometimes because of their confusing glitches.

Some basic tips in my opinion.

Crotch to both improve aim, distance and apparently increase headshot damage.

With rapid fire, sweep your target in mini-strokes and practice making the strokes smaller and more precise till you can just have a feel for locking onto them without auto-aim.

Rockets are always best to shoot at feet. A rocket rarely rarely makes a headshot and usually flys right past their ear instead lol. Even hitting close ground near the person can send them flying into their death.

Road killing usually only works when someone is in the middle of the road, but don't plan to be an intentional roadkiller the entire game - that's just a waste of time. It's a really crappy method that people are well prepared to dodge. Just take advantage if the opportunity presents itself and a dumbass is not watching his back in the middle of the road lol. Good advice, stay away from standing in the middle of the road anyways and stick near walls around non-destructible objects etc to make yourself more difficult to reach for that type of situation. If it's an intentional roadkiller, then you have an easy kill with your guns as the good shooter on foot almost always wins that battle 95% of the time.

A lot of times, it's about what weapons you have. Look for best quality firearms - AK, M4, Desert Eagle, SMG etc.

When it comes to popping someone in a car, sweep the driver windshield from the back of side instead of trying to hone in onto their head and just barely missing.

Dont forget, when you hit the aim button youre automatically at head level. so if someone is right in front of you dont move the reticule up or down.

also practice the erratic random back and forth walk when you are in a face to face shootout.

one thing that helps is stay calm and aim instead of firing wildly. but dont go too slowly.

also youll be more accurate from a distance if you pop of 2-3 shots at a time instead of holding down the trigger (just game mechanics). if youre up close though go ahead and hold down the trigger.

Crotch to both improve aim

crouching is good AA advise but as far as disallow- move from left to right (and vice versa) to avoid your opponents aim.

It's true crouching gives better accuracy but it leave you as a super easy target..... sitting duck

Instead of crouching, tap the trigger rather then holding it down to get the accuracy.

Legacy-666_

If you fire your weapon at a wall you will notice the bullet spread if you hold the trigger. only the 1st few bullets are actually on target.

Tapping or burst fire of 2 or 3 shots will ensure a more tighter bullet spread.

crouching has its time like lining up that long sniper shot down the street, but in disallow follow sicks advice of weaving when in a gun fight.

try using different combinations of weapons and find which suit your gameplay, things like the shotty have their place in disallow, and can quickly take out a driver.
