I can get it to launch, but mouse doesn't work at all, and won't load savegames. If I use compatibility mode for win98 mode, and run as administrator, it works, BUT no savegames appear! I've started a new game, and got to the point where I can save, and did. Then, searched the hard drive for "gtasa" (all savegame files start with this, as we know) but explorer doesn't find any! Obviously I'd like to get the game running in at least xp compatibility mode, I can't play the thing without being able to save... no crack, no mods, full retail version 1.0 ("banned" hot-coffee version, only I'm not running the hot coffee patch, of course).
