Hey guys, it's me Djwid63, aspiring filmmaker and creator of:

I'm currently in the process of finishing up an 8 episode flick using GTA IV. I'm working on the last episode, and I'm hoping that be next month I can start uploading the episodes. I'm wondering whether to work on text-based dialogue this time around or try to find some voice actors for the characters I'm using. I've actually worked on a casting call for each of the characters used, so if anyone's interested, I'll send you a script and you can record your voices to be sent to me via a file-sharing site.

 

In the meantime I made a commemorative video for my ex-girlfriend, we just broke up a month ago and our relationship lasted 5 years. It was made in the vein of a cheesy r*b music video not unlike the late-90's duets, so I hope you enjoy it. More importantly, if you were a girl, I hope you'd find it AT LEAST

Nick Beckett:

roughly mid-to-late 30's, of Welsh descent, accent is fusion of Welsh and Midwestern American, has a calm, stoic demeanor and speaks in a mostly deadpan manner. Highly respectful of women, a loyal friend, a skilled assassin. Prefers to keep things simple, likes to take the direct approach when completing contracts, and highly resourceful of his surroundings, but adjusts to the situations he finds himself in rather well. Puts on a facade of normality for his girlfriend, Kelly DuPont. (think: Christian Bale)

 

Victor Strovski:

same age as Nick, of russian descent, has a strong thick accent, calm and stoic as well but exudes an aura of menace and a true psychopathic killer. A person who does not live by any code, prefers to do what he wants when he wants, a brutally effective killer without any remorse, (think: Cyrus the Virus from Con Air with an accent)

 

Kelly duPont:

late 20's, hails from New York, although her accent isn't a very thick NY accent, seems mixed with Midwestern ones... very professional, a woman of taste and class, and is fun-loving. Has a deep affection for Nick, but does not like it when she is not told of all there is to know about his lifestyle. Has a typical father-daughter relationship with her Francis DuPont. (think: Alyssa Milano)

 

Francis DuPont:

late 50's, New York accent and manner of speaking, gruff yet tender voice. CEO of WoodyBone Construction Inc., a very hands-on individual who seeks nothing but accomplishment and success in his life. Loving father, and is surprisingly very supportive of Kelly's free-spirited lifestyle. He pulls a few wrong strings which makes him an assassination target. (think: Robert Loggia)

 

Wang Mu Sai:

mid-40's, a wealthy Chinese immigrant who hires Victor to take out Francis DuPont for acquiring his property, a construction yard in the middle of Algonquin, and plans to take it back. Was also responsible for killing the strip club owner. A greedy businessman who intends to monopolize all business establishments in Liberty City. Speaks with refined diction and accent. (think: Randall Duk Kim or James Hong)

 

Ezekiel:

mid 30's, African-American descent, hails from Brooklyn, Nick's private contractor and good friend. He informs Nick of upcoming contracts sent in by an unknown employer, and is also Nick's weapons supplier. Has a nasty habit for weed, a bit laid back as should be. (think: Don Cheadle)

Jimmy P:

you know who this is... talks with a thick New York accent, voice is whiny. Nick's 1st contract at the start of the film.

 

Andre Krukishnov:

60's, thick russian accent, arms dealer who was released from jail. Nick's 2nd contract in the story.

 

Strip club owner:

40's, speaks in disjointed English, is killed by Victor. 1 line in the story.

 

Hubert:

70's, Kelly's servant, distinguished Cockney accent. 2 lines in the story.

 

Lenny & Roddy:

Jimmy P's bodyguards, New york Accent...

 

Wang's assistant:

male, very high-pitched voice, a lil' hoarse but almost annoying...

Okay, will send a draft your way as soon as I finish up on the last episode. I usually work out the scenes in my head with the story in mind, then start building the dialogue from there... I'll get back to you on the script.
