I don't know if the dolmas were meant to be sweet, they just tasted sweet, i got them in a restuarant in Kusadasi.

Turks are HUGE tricksters, they will tell you something costs so many lira before you eat it, then when its time to pay its raised hundreds of lira and they say you misheard, then they pay the officials so if you go to them they say they can't do anything.

*America

Sorry world.

Oh haha, your funny. Not! Too bad Europe is in just as bad shape of a economy as we are. And guess what, if our economy fails your going right down the toilet with us because your countries just as well as pretty much all of the other countries

*gasp*

Rely on us....But then again, were so mean that we don't help the world, when were sending Millions of Dollars which we could be using to solve or Debt to Haiti to resolve there government and economy and other countries that were in or will be in natural disasters

Ughh, i just hate it when Europeans think with there ass about Americans, hate stereotypes. It just kills me, I mean were just as equal as the rest of the world, and we DO NOT think were better than other countries and if we did, we'd be living in a whole different world right now. And actually instead of apologizing to the rest of the world, you should be thanking us for our "Revolution"ized way of thinking. If it wasn't for us, many countries wouldn't be free right now, and we'd still be under Europe control which wouldn't be good for the rest of the world.

So....SORRY WORLD lol.gif

America (discovered by Cristoforo Colombo and named America after Amerigo Vespucci)

Since my ancestors are Native Americans, I can't really let Christopher Columbus take credit for that one. Simply because you can't be the first one to discover a land if people were already there. I personally like to say that he just 'publicised' it.

I believe we English invented the Gibbet. Great idea, no fancy public execution, we just take the criminal, put him in a cage and hang him by a roadside until he's good and mouldy.

I would like to put to bed the urban legend that America was named after Amerigo Vespucci. As you can see here the expanse of land was named after Richard Amerike, a wealthy trader living in the South West of England.

Although the man who had his voyages sponsored by Amerike was an Italian native so you are half right docikowski...

Regardless, Leif Ericsson and his crew were the first Europeans to land on the north American continent, preceding Columbus by a couple hundred years. But just because he wasn't a christian, he was never publicized about until somewhat recently.

Viking edit: Lief actually had converted to christianity just before serring sail for his first voyage to the west, but still never got any credit for his adventures until the 60s.

I was thinking about talking about who originally discovered America, but I realized that it would be a moot point after what I already typed.

Quite interesting how the native americans got to America, you wouldn't be able to do it nowadays, although it would have added some spice to the cold war.
