Do you prefer the Annihilator or the Buzzard?

So, yeah, forgive me if this has already been done... while the Buzzard does have nice rockets and (from what I noticed) better durability, I think the Annihilator is better. Its explosive bullets are very helpful for taking out cars (like an explosive SMG, instead of a faster rocket launcher like the Buzzard), and I think it also looks a lot better (and its faster).

 

Apparently the only way to get an Annihilator is to get to 100% and look around police helipads, so I have to use the cheat whenever I want one...

I'm waiting for somebody to post Booze-T's video. If you were able to see the EFLC/DLC Annihilator's round and they had increased range, then the Annihilator would own the Buzzard.

I still prefer using core GTA IV's Annihilator (just machine guns, no explosive rounds). It actually takes skill to kill someone with gunfire, unlike the rocket-spamming Buzzard

The Buzzard, while cool, isnt as badass as the Annihilator. The Annihilator is faster, bigger and fires hard.

Buzzard on the other hand is a spammer. Deserved to be f*cking banned!

 

One thing is for sure though, the Annihilator can get you the Skylift.

While the Buzzard is an all-time spamming machine, it is one of the best toys for a pilot like myself.

I only consider the Buzzard as a spamming machine while i'm on the opposing end with some two-faced n00b in it using the rockets over and over like it's f*cking RPG spamming camp.

 

But i also do believe the Buzzard can be overrated at times, and just remember, all it is, is an AH-6 Little bird in real life comparison.

 

But i have to argue with the people favoring the UH-60L Black hawk [Annihilator]

As it has EXPLODING bullets on impact, i class it as a n00b machine. It's to easy to use against others, and it makes it soo much easier for the n00bs to kill, and it makes them think they're a pro at piloting, when in reality. They are not good at all.

 

Ever since R* updated the Annihilators mini guns to n00byguns, everything just seems to be piss easy with these n00bs, i say that the original Annihilator should be put back into play so we can have fair dogfights, and limit the rockets on the AH-6 little bird too.

 

I absolutely adore the UH-60L Black Hawk to death, don't get me wrong. It's one of my favorite practicing helicopters in GTA IV for landing purposes, i just believe it should go back to the way it was famous for. That is just my opinion, if you aggree with me, good for you, if you disagree, I'll take the opportunity to take in your argument. As long as you have a point with it and it's not to repetitive.

Tough call because currently I'm not too happy with either of them. I guess I would have to say the Annihilator due to it's speed & passenger capacity. Although the exploding rounds offer some nice punch, the range is a bit short for any real exciting combat. It's now designed to speed in, Knockout, and speed out.

 

I kinda wish Rockstar would have thought of the negative implications of having so many versions of Liberty City. Don't get me wrong, variety is good, but most of the talented pilots have gone back to IV and have been replaced with more powerful and aggresive Uber Noobs in Ballad.

 

Still, I Liberty City like it's going out of style (wait! is it!? )

All the way with Anihilator, while buzzard has Miniguns, they are such of use, but when you hit someone with those 2 miniguns, they give oportunity to the other n00b to get out and open a parachute, while when you use Anihilator miniguns with explosives, the other asshole is officially dead, since 2 shot from those awsome explosive rounds and you are totally owned, couse any heli you use will explote!!

 

The misiles from Buzzard, are useless when fighting with another guy in the air(far away from land, near the top of High-O-Meter) couse R* never added a custom View for Missiles like it does in PC, so you just spamm misiles like a bitch, and near 1 time of 10 you use em you hit the tarjet, but damn, those misiles are freaking awsome when you are trying to kill a rat going inside a car, 1 hit of em and BYE BYE asshole!!The car gets converted to pure ashes in seconds

The Buzzard and DLC Annihilator should be for free mode and single player. The Vanilla Annihilator should be only for multiplayer as the other two are just overpowered.

Buzzard is like taking a AA-12 to a fist fight.

 

What I mean by that is you Know who's gonna come out on top, and to be honest ruins the fun for other people on Free mode. I remember awesome chopper fights on GTAIV free mode, now i'm f*cking lucky if I even get away from a buszzard in an annihilator.

 

But if a buzzard didnt have unlimited rockets, the annihilator with exsplosive rounds would destroy it, me and my friend tested it.

Annihilator all the way. I tried to kill other people with the Buzzard, it's WAY too easy. Rockets AND machine guns, fireing faster than the annihilator. And the Annihilator needs to reload.

Yeah, I'm surprised R* never added a patch to limit the ammo on the whirly birds like other weapons in the game. If they did that, pilots would have to go back and restock, giving players time to prepare for another attack. I think this would actually make the gameplay even more exciting and wee bit more realistic.

When I get to play The Ballad of Gay Tony multiplayer free mode, I'm going to be using the Buzzard all the time.

 

That said, I'm actually the kind of person who prefers to use the Maverick.

 

People on the ground (generally) see me as less of a threat because the Maverick isn't armed with machine guns, so they don't bother me and I don't bother them.

 

Now, Annihilator pilots are a different story. I swear, every online free mode match I've ever been in, there's always been one dickhead in an Annihilator who insists on trying to shoot my lovely helicopter out of the sky.

I use the Buzzard for shooting cars and the Police Maverick. It comes in handy against an M4. The Buzzard is a teaser. You use it to scare somebody. The Annihilator is a fighter. You use it to tell somebody "I've got the power". So I agree, The Annihilator is a better helicopter. Plus it goes up a little when you are flying at top speed. If you have played TBoGT then you know flying at top speed in the Buzzard will cause it to slowly decrease in altitude, until you hit the ground, or if you learned the hard way, gas tanks and water. Explosions and water. Bad combination. But the Annihilator got me the Skylift copter, and it owns the Buzzard. Plus, you don't have to steal the Buzzard. It can be spawned and the rockets explode when you shoot them and you are on the ground. The Annihilator's explosive rounds go straight and don't drop down. But they have a shorter range than the Buzzard. So its really a tie.

After playing for 2 hours on PC, i am more leaned to annhinilator. Buzzard is too...slow.

The annhinilator. The buzzard is for mostly n00bs and the buzzard leaves the pilot too exposed. the annhinilator has buzzards exploding in 1 direct hit and is what we are already use to.
