Friendships?

Ok, this question has been bothering me for a long time. What is the point for friendships in tbogt? I mean, their special abilities are already unlocked. Do they have a secondary special ability or something?

They're there to remind you how Gay you are and how much you suck Tony's dick and not true to the streets anymore.

 

At least that's what I gathered, their abilities are unlocked from the go and anytime I hang out with those anoying pricks all they do is just insult Luis no matter what, even after the likes of 50 Gang Wars they'll still insult Luis saying he's not true to himself anymore and he doesn't help out enough and YO L HOWS YO MOMS!!??

I think you have to get 100% friendship with them to 100% beat the game.

 

Other than that there's no reason to hang with them, except if your bored and have nothing to do.

 

I liked the IV friendships, cause they'd give you stuff if you became good friends with them.

Is there a way to get their respect? With me it's stuck on 50 and 60 percent.

Friendship definitely mattered more in IV. The fact you could lose abilities if you neglected a friend motivated you to call and make up. I guess they left this out of the Episodes because the stories are so much shorter, and because the new weapons are only sold by your friend.
