Blizzard14
When I burn a CD, and try to play it on a stereo or in my car, all I hear is a loud screeching noise. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know for sure that the files are MP3 format, I've used several different CD Burning software, like WMP, Power2Go, and the Windows burner thing that appears when you pop in a clean CD. It can't be the CDs, I just bought them. I did a little searching and This seems to be similar to my problem, but I don't use Scratch Live. Tornado Rex
Where did you get the mp3s from? It sounds kind of like they have DRM on them. ~ Proud Supporter of the Child's Play Charity! | GTANET + Child's Play ~
Blizzard14
I don't remember, its been in my HD for so long. It was already on WMP, so most likely ripped it to my library from a CD. I haven't burned CDs in a long time. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Ebernanut
Are you burning them as regular audio CDs or as MP3 CDs? Some CD players can play MP3s but many will only play a regular audio CD.
Star-Lord
Try ripping the MP3's back to WMA with WMP - then use something else to burned them with. Maybe try this media player instead.
Blizzard14
Well, I tried using Itunes now, and setting the burning speed from Maximum to 16x and it works now. Most likely the problem was the writing speed. Thanks everyone for your help though.
