Player Selector - help appreciated

Hi guys i use xlive asi loader and have dsound.dll too, i put Playerselector.asi in GTA IV folder, but nothing happens when i press * ingame, i even try to hold it down, but nothing happens

 

i relaly appreciate if anyone can help me, doent i need a playerselector.ini file too ??

 

Oh and here is what the LOG says

I personally don't see how it is affecting you and your daily life if someone bumps a topic that is a year old, if someone needs help then they must find the certain kind of help they are after to do so, and obviously Tommy needed this kind of help so he tried to find a topic on here that met his requirements.

 

No need to use the "WTF" term against him for doing so.

The only suggestion i could give you is this. Update your Scripthook.dll and your dsound.dll files to the most recent versions.

Make sure they are the latest versions if you are using the latest patch for GTA IV/EFLC.

 

Once you update your dsound.dll and scripthook.dll file, get rid of your XLiveless file as it is not needed.

You can still play online don't worry, you will just be forced to play with other modding players which is not bad.

ok i had this problem before but a little different. i had to press and hold the * button down and then it would come up. but then every time you wanted to change the player model r his/her clothes you would have to hold the button down. now this is the good news it can be fixed but the bad news is you have to uninstall your game re-download your updated driver and install your game and worst thing (dnt play GTA for a while). its called a NET framework cool down period. its a asi bug that has something to do with the NET.Framework. this what happened i got pissed off at gta and stop playing because that was the whole point of me getting the game is the player selector than all of a sudden the mod stop working over months of use then about 2 months later i decide i wanted to try it out aGIAN AND IT WORKED GOOD AS NEW!. but the bad news is how long you can wait r how long it took. got a secondary game that you like to play? play it for a week and then try gta. it sould work. hope this help.
